Getting itouch out of recovery mode without restoring? - Hardware & Software

I used blackrain to jailbreak, and i'm in recovery mode. I just realized I probably deleted all of the music on this. Is there any way to back out now? Or do I have to follow through and restore to factory settings.

I have an ipod touch 2nd gen the second newest update (3.1.2?) It's not mine. It's not tied to my account, and the girl who owns it doesn't have a backup of her music. I plugged it in, hit "make it rain" on blackrain, and then she goes OH WAIT I DON'T HAVE A BACKUP DID YOU RESTORE?

It's in recovery mode, It won't do anything until I restore it on itunes. I figure I might as well just delete all this girls music, it's not like she was smart enough to make a backup before handing it over to be jailbroken anyway. Not to mention it was all pirated music.

Well it's a win-win, I saved her music by keeping it in tethering mode, so she keeps her music, and she has to come back to me every time she forgets to charge it. :q:

have you tried hard rebooting i dunno if it'll work for you but sometimes i get out of recovery mode that way :v:

For the last fucking time, the blackrain jailbreak is fucking tethered, you need to run the jailbreak again every time you start up. It terrifies me how many people don't know this.
