Getting there, I think...

Couldn't decide the Chapter, so I just made it matte gray.
Your understandings on how mechanics, light, anatomy, proportions and perspective work are awfully off.
Head is way too small, legs angle however the fuck they want, ending up in an twisted pile of crotch pain. Even tough orkz are made a rokkan, i'm still sure their jaws wouldn't be held in place by skin off their chin alone. Shading is nice and material definiton is pretty good, but it feels like you just went.
"Hmm, direct lighting with one source from behind him... "
And then you just flipped the fuck off with a brush, not stoping for once even for a tought.
There's nothing that would reflect the light back, making it visible form both sides.
I'm not sure, but I think he should be a silhouette altogether with this light.
Right hand is aced, but left has been bent in ways not possible for a man.
Tha'ts enough of mistakes.
You should htink more carefully when doing shading, at parts material definiton is fucking aced, at others it looks like a blank piece of shit.
Use more reference images, do more practise in traditional medias, real painting, consult tutorials and such.
Disproportionate. And I'm not too fond of the smoke. Also, needs a bit of blood in my opinion.
Other then that I'm digging the background that sun shining behind his back effect you got there.
Apart from the proportions and other mistakes, It actually does look pretty damn badass.
If there was so much smoke that the sky was red, the sun wouldn't be a bright ball of light, it would be like a bright circle that you could actually stare at. It looks like you got bored of the drawing when you got to the background. Features are scribbled and parts aren't even completely filled in. The smoke needs a lot of work.
cough generic cough.

What the crap is that?
Some war machine from 40k I think. :p
I've played 40k, and I've never seen a bathtub monster with arms smoking pot and scavenging.
And the picture itself it..... Awkwardly drawn. And the chainsword looks like this, for lack of a better picture, this:

Ever heard of the term 'artist's impression'? And just for your information, even in the 'official' WH40K paintings the chainsword looks different from the miniatures.
The tin can on legs is called "Killa Kan".
Also, Space Marines in paintings n' stuff are usually disproportionate, especially their heads are commonly small, to emphasize the size of their armor or someshitIdunno. It just is like that. Well, I'm debating with Goldies here, so I'm automatically wrong.

That head looks really small to me.
Apart from the material definition in some pots, is anything else good in the pic?
Thought so.
Nice. Perhaps make the sword face forward a little more. It doesn't look right when it just sticks straight out.
The miniatures were the originals, they weren't awkward and strange. All I'm saying is that the proportions to the actual space marine are off, and the chainsword looks a wee bit different.
I like his chainsword better to be honest.

Just because you find that head small, doesnt make it right to slap the same sized helmet on it, make shoudlers two miles too long and do the whole picture without even thinking how the poor sonnofabitch could be able to walk.
