The soldiers were making their rounds in the city of Hebron when they entered a dance hall and joined dozens of Palestinian men dancing to South Korean rapper Psy's hit Gangnam Style. The Israeli military said on Thursday that it considers the incident serious, adding "the soldiers exposed themselves to unnecessary danger and were disciplined accordingly," without elaborating.
I feel like there was some major over reaction over this. I don't think the soldiers "exposed themselves to unnnecessary danger" It's a wedding for fucks sake. Nobody would want to even try and start shit.
No fun allowed in the IDF
No fun allowed in the IDF
More like no fun allowed in Israel as soon as soon as Palestinians are involved.
Israel bomb Psy in retaliation
This is sad because this is actually a good thing - a tiny but real sign of integration and cooperation, and while these soldiers did possibly break rules, fuck if I know, the reason that IDF is flipping shit is because they perceive Palestinians as the enemy.

Awesome, sure, but not something to do whilst on patrol and wearing a uniform.
Same thing would have happened in any decent army
Peace on the middle east, yo. it's happenin' right now.
Reminds me of that christmas story from WWII yeah, what Dijatsu said
Same thing would have happened in any decent army
for some reason this sparked my memory of the WWI* Christmas Truce where people got up and hung out in no man's land with each other, singing and eating turkey and all that jazz however yeah if you're on duty and just randomly go and goof off you should get in trouble for it, it's wreckless and puts you in an off light from how the military wants to be seen
Traitors to Israel.

get into trouble for dancing, but not for killing, making yourself look great israel.
This completely explains Israel's unwarranted violence. If they consider a club full of teens dancing and having fun, dangerous, then imagine what they think of the people trying to stop them from bulldozing their house.
Or It was a bit out of line to do this. Awesome, sure, but not something to do whilst on patrol and wearing a uniform.
On the other hand it demonstrates that the Israelis and Palestinians in the area hold some common ground, man when you feel the rhythm, you just gotta move, ain't no prejudice or hatred involved.
Oh shit, non-violent human interaction, something must be wrong
The military is supposed to be professional and things are often heated in the middle east. If they were off duty, then I don't see a large problem here. But being on duty and abandoning post is not okay.
