So, I'm looking for Celtic music on youtube (Yeah I'm Irish) and I stumble across an overlooked instrument. the Uillean Pipes.
Have a look at beauty right over here.

:scotland:
fuck. nobody likes celtic?
Irish music rocks. Extra points if the singer sings in Gaelic.
Wow, that sounds really awesome. I'll bet nobody plays it though.
We're putting together an Irish folk band at school, I'm playing the Ukulele :buddy:
I love the sound of the Uilleann Pipes.
I first heard them in a Nightwish song, then just found loads of stuff with them in, for instance the Titanic soundtrack is full of them.

My aunt went to Ireland and stayed in some place where there was live music every night and there were a couple of pipers, I was jealous :(
Good to see other people are into celtic music. The uillean pipes are amazing, first time I saw them was in the titanic dance scene (Gaelic storm did it, go look them up) and last year at Cambridge folk festival I went to a session and there was a guy playing them. They sound so fantastic and are damn beautiful to look at
Also Echidna how could you not include this?

I saw these a few years ago, been in love with them ever since. I'm a huge fan of bagpipes as well.
(I'm both Scottish and Irish so that probably helps )
