[editline]31st May 2011[/editline]
and by buying i mean installousing
Do want.
Oh yeah, I messed with one of these at the Namm expo this year. I couldn't hear it though because the expo is so loud, was cool to mess with though.
Those blocks remind me of Mah-Jong pieces
wouldn't everything people make on the desk sound similar? how did he choose that chord progression, or does it just come with one or something? pretty cool nonetheless, just wouldn't be very useful to a live performer or musician if they don't want to sound the same as everyone else using one.
I saw this when I went to the NAMM Show in January. It was pretty cool to play around with but I couldn't really seriously see DJs using this as a tool to make music.
I want this. There's nothing like hands-on modulation. Digging the low pass ladder filter on that lead synth. Awesome :D

It's also awesome how they can gate that high pitched synth just by laying a block down. This is really neat.
Is there a version for computers? I know kinda stupid, but just wishing....
If not, time to get my iPod back from my brother.

IIRC (I may be wrong) but the table doesn't produce any sound by itself, it's linked to a modular synth program on a computer, so the chord progressions, samples, loops and all the rest get programmed in before hand, and the performer basically uses the table like a glorified MIDI controller.
The mobile version was VERY worth the $10. I now have a lot of megajelly friends.
Played the mobile version on my friends itouch, TOTALLY worth ten dollars.
oh GOD why dont I have an i- thing?!

Seeing as we're on the subject, I would like to know the name of some artists that make this same style of music.
Do like.
