It stayed in the hammock for 20 minutes before heading back into the woods around 8:15 p.m. "He got in the hammock like he was a tourist or something," said Vincent James, who owns the home and the hammock. "Then something spooked him and he ran right back there. Then half an hour later I come back and I saw there he is in the hammock again." He's contemplating life
I rest my case.
He's contemplating life
"What am I doing here.... I could be a star in a nature documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough that talks about my life, like my friends up north have...where did it go so wrong."
"Hey, while you're standing there taking pictures, you mind getting me a lemonade?"
Haha, the hammock is bearly holding the bear up.

Florida bear thats kinda new
Florida bear thats kinda new
Florida man's trusty companion?
Haha, the hammock is bearly holding the bear up.
I'm a little worried, if it breaks with him in it, he'll go beareling down, and his injuries could be quite grizzly.
I have a hell of a time getting into hammocks and a bear with no concept of them is able to do it without issue?
It's probably sad that this makes me much more empathic towards the animal than researches of "WE KNOW THEY FEEL PAIN AND FEAR AND CARE FOR THEIR BABIES". Nah, laziness and need for comfort. THAT'S things I can relate to.
Black bears are pretty friendly

Bear necessities
A nice resting place for his bear ass Someone should start up a fund for planting random hammocks in the forest
He's just hanging around waiting for a picnic basket. Jellystone Park currently has a shortage.
He's contemplating life
Hey Boo-Boo, I've SEEN things you wouldn't believe. Pic-a-nic baskets on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched torch beams glitter in the dark near the park rangers' lodge. All those moments, will be lost in time. Like... sugar, on an anthill. Time, to hibernate... But in all seriousness, the look on that bear's face makes it seem as if it's recovering from the horrors it has seen, with that thousand yard stare.
