Anyone who cheats on a test deserves to have their testicles removed. (Or comparable body part if testicles are unavailable.)
Hellz ya [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Now it looks like I was replying to you because you had to go and post before me.
dang u dumb son!
Like a bowss
I remember a lot of people doing the sniff/cough tactic back in 8th Grade, and was so confused by it till I basically watched over them carefully, and noticed that everyone wrote down answers, and my main response, "You've got to be kidding me." it was pretty funny though when our History teacher(ex-airforce cpt) actually caught onto someone doing morse code with their pen, and basically reflected on anyone who did the morse code writing, and actually suspended them from the class. If you're asking how... Click was dot. Tap was dash. Sigh was space.
My test taking preparation: Do nothing, get highest score/ace test. [editline]15th March 2011[/editline] And didn't that one guy on who wants to be a millionaire do that?

I know this will sound horrible, but the only history test I gained lower then a B on was Civil Rights. So much shit from classmates... So much shit.
I pay very close attention during lectures, so I really have no problem with tests. The only problem I have is attendance, and getting the work done.
Same here. I know this will sound horrible, but the only history test I gained lower then a B on was Civil Rights. So much shit from classmates... So much shit.
Yeah, in my ap science class, I tied for highest score many of them, got the number one top score beating everyone once, and never got below 43/50, and my teacher did it on a curve and no one ever got 50, and I probably studied the least in the whole class, my friends were always pissed at me.
Write shit tons of notes from every single class. Too lazy to read them again.
I think high school was the only period of my school life that I didn't cheat.
Out of all my tests I've ever taken, I've only cheated 2 answers
TA helped us cheat in my last math class at first by showing us his old tests and letting us copy the answers and attempt to memorize them. I later introduced my classmates to the note taking applications on their TI-84's. I think the only kind of test I haven't cheated on would be essays.
The best ways to take smaller tests is to just take out the textbook during the test. For some reason, it's so damn obvious it works. I don't do it personally, but it's the funniest thing when the whole class is doing a whole mental "Whaaaat?", when they watch my friends do it.
Anyone who cheats on a test deserves to have their testicles removed. (Or comparable body part if testicles are unavailable.)
Not cheating, collaborating.
I don't get why cheating in school is so frowned upon, people cheat all the time in the real world and there's no teacher/principal/whatever to punish you for doing it so you get away with it. Plus, if you're cheating you're being resourceful of your environment. If the smart kids can't be smart enough to cover up their own fucking test and then you can easily see all their answers, that's their own fault. Prepared for dumbs but I don't give a fuck.
The whole night before thing can actually work if you plan it right and not do it at like 9pm and stay up all night. Best thing to do is pay attention in class. I wasn't a perfect 4.0 student or anything but I always found paying attention in class was the best way to retain the subject. Homework is just supposed to be a reinforcer. I suppose it does depend on the class though.
Anyone who cheats on a test deserves to have their testicles removed. (Or comparable body part if testicles are unavailable.)
Haha, you serious?
All of my tests are open book, which I think is both effective and challenging in itself. Effective because it requires the student to read through loads of shit to find the answer, which tends to make it "stick" more effectively, and challenging because they ask for the tiniest, most obscure piece of information in the entire text and make people find it. No cheating required, just lots of patience.
Haha, you serious?
Yes. Either sack up and work for your grades or accept the consequences like a responsible adult. If you need to cheat in high school you're just a lazy shit and if you cheat in college you're robbing yourself of knowledge you will likely need for your future career and hence your employer of skills they expect you to have.
Haha, you serious?
School's meant to be a place you learn from. Process- 1. You learn 2. They quiz you to solidify the information in your head, make sure you actually learned it, and to make sure you can apply it at all. 3. You use the information in real life I'd like to see someone cheat through college and try for a capstone class [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] I know for sure that I slack off like a bitch, but I accept the consequences. The occasional 70% on homework, etc. But I don't try and get out of it by copying another person's work, or arguing with the professor
Or just cheat that one time you physically cannot comprehend what is trying to be taught, or because you forgot to study or something Cheating occasionally in lower level high school is fine, cheating in college is not
A test is called that for a reason. To test how well you understand what is being taught. Also, a single bad test grade is not going to destroy your life or even your grade in a class, particularly in grade school.
Good point, but if you could avoid getting that bad result why wouldn't you? I don't know man, the last time I cheated was in my year ten biology test and i don't think it was a bad idea.
Good point, but if you could avoid getting that bad result why wouldn't you?
Because it's dishonest and you have a sense of personal accountability? Apparently not! [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Maybe Plato was right
Man what are you? An undercover mom or a teacher?
Who the ferk has multiple only tests... geez.
Because it's dishonest and you have a sense of personal accountability? Apparently not! [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Maybe Plato was right
Did you get caught and have your test taken away?
