As you can see my machine isn't exactly the sharpest toll in the shed.
I would like to upgrade and as I'm getting a tax rebate next week might as well do it now.
I already have the hdd, keyboard, mouse and monitor and I figure I can keep the 8800GT a few months more but my case is literally falling apart, and the motherboard isn't exactly the Hagia Sophia either.
But what do you guys think I should do? My budget is limited to at the most $350-$400 and you really don't need to recommend any GPU's
The GPU is still ok for now, but i would definitely dust it out and replace the thermal goo asap if that's not a load temp.
Give me about 15 minutes.
EDIT: What are you running for a PSU?

Cases are subjective, but here's a few that are well liked:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146077 Same case as below, but white instead of black.

Then there's always the HAF 912, the Antec 200/300, Thermaltake V3/4 which are also good for the cost.

PSU is optional if you have a decent one already.
I just bought a 480W corsair in november so no need for a new one yet, Thanks.

No. The Antec 200/300 cases suck.
