Just set up a rig in which I believe everything is plugged in correctly. I turn the computer on for the first time and I don't hear a beep. Is it supposed to have one?
Problem Solved: 3 RAM slots were in A2 B2 and C2 instead of A1, etc.
Fuck, never mind.
It's supposed to beep once. One beep with the AMI BIOS means everything has POSTed.
It means you didn't plug the case speaker into the motherboard
only if you have a speaker

Is that motherboard supposed to beep every time you boot it?:O
Yeah, they should. I think mine actually beeps at the VGA BIOS check.
Maybe you guys should take a second glance at the OP.
There's so many that didn't read the OP...

Plug the speaker in. It's not that hard.
