and to 'share' images uploaded in places that don't have a lazylink button, you right click, copy image location, paste with img tags.
Having a 'sketchbook' thread is a bad idea.

Such a stark contrast in the quality of your artwork.
Anyway, it's not against the [i]rule[/i] rules, its just going to piss people off if you make a thread for 2 second photoshop edits.
The stuff you posted now is better.
These aren't two second Photoshop jobs. Get your stuff straight. Did you not see his actual Sketchbook scans? They are actually quite good and show a lot of potential.
:O, well i try to work on everything for as long as I can. so even if it looks "brushed raped", there has actually been prolonged periods of planning. I does like using the photoshop brushes :]

Read the thread. There has been a lot of editing to his posts so things change. I was referring to the very first image in the OP. Real artwork was posted after, which I recognized as good stuff.
He's definitely got talent with paper.

Awesome stuff, all of it. I like the style.
Whilst yo're very talented at drawing I just don't get anything out of these. I don't get an impression that "Woah, that's some serious skills". They all have this bland thing going over them, most likely it is because I find them a bit generic. Especially with the OP impression which is a very typical vector artsy fartsy fad thing, it does require a lot of work but it is in the core just the same thing with the same ideas placed in more or less the same places.
As for the rests after the OP I think it has a lot to do with your composition. They just follow the standard routine that you can find in the OP image posts. They have no depth and usually try to fit in as much as they can into one image to make it look cool.
So yeah, it's good work, but at least for me it's more good on the technical side but lacks life, creativity and "fun". Try to implement depth and more obscure or at least different compositions to your works, I think it could help you a lot.
I think it's fine. Plenty of people make threads with links to their blogs and don't get nearly as much hate. Creationism corner is full of elitists hipster kids who think they're the next Picasso. Don't worry too much about it, keep posting, I think it looks great.

Your absolutely right and i thank you for being so blunt with me, hopefully in the future I'll be able to create something that you will enjoy. I'm taking your advice and with a ton of work ,help from both you and the forum members i will end up evolving into a more sophisticated artist. Thanks dude :0)
cool style, but you get lazy on some stuff, (lol that car looks horrid) and you have that overdone indie-alternative street artist style. I like the picture with negros on them, cause it feels fresh and awesome, despite hair being made really sloppy.
Meh I'd say you keep your work bit too sloppy and overdo the artistic part but lack real depth in showing shit. They feel too two dimensional. I can't sadly yet point out anything else you do wrong, only what I think of the overall style due to my personal lack of experience.
Meh keep experimenting?

I like them personally, but what bothers me about them is how they feel unfinished. Half of them only have been shaded/colored on a few objects and the rest is just lines. I'd like it more if all of it were shaded as opposed to a few things (is that done on purpose to draw attention to the specific object, or is it really just unfinished?).
You proportion is amazing. Much better than mine.

Did you understand what I meant with depth anyways?
I didn't think of themes, meanings and stuff like that.
But depth of field. Foreground, middleground, background. Your drawings looks so flat and 2D. You got some really good shading, good control over your pen, good knowledge of proportions and anatomy. But it just looks so flat andb ecomes uninteresting. You should also work on contrasts, make them pop out, make something more visually attractive than others. Don't make the whole image in to one big thing, make it into several things that make up one big thing where some of them are more focused than others (which comes naturally if you implement depth to the drawings).

oh hell yea, they're mostly from my sketchbook. i love working on each drawing individualy, but i cant si and stare at the same thing for more than an hour :/, so i just end up providing enough information for you to "guess".
