Anyone know an offline, farmville like game I can get for my grandparents?

My grandparents are really into farming. They have 5 acres of pure plowed fields that they maintain, and they love every minute of it. It gives them something to do.
However, during the winter they sit and watch judge judy all day, it's really depressing to see them like this. I have a computer I can hook up to their TV with HDMI, but i wish i had a farmville game I could give them, so they can farm during the winter too.
Obviously, farmville wouldn't work without internet (which they dont have), and either way, there's much too much sitting around in farmville, waiting for crops to finish.
I was hoping for a GIANT fucking farm, where every 10 minutes they can harvest crops they planted last week, and plant every 10 miuntes. There should be a point system too, where they can sell their crops for money.
Anyone know anything like what i'm describing that would be suitable for their needs? Otherwise i'll try making a quick game in java.
Crops don't grow that well during winter.

that's the point, i want to get them a farming GAME they can play when they can't do the real thing.
did you even read?
Viva Pinata is a farm thing, but not crops...
Why does it have to be a farming game...?
Get them a puzzle game.
Or a Wii :smug:

I think the colors would be a turnoff to them. They'd think it's too much of a child's game.

Because I know it's something they'd enjoy.
John Deere American Farmer is a tycoon-ish farming game.

It isn't a game where you play and then come back the next day and the stuff is grown. It's a normal game.
Also other games in the same general area as farmville is Diner Dash, Cooking Mama, Cake Mania, and Chocolateer. Best thing about them is they are usually around 5-20 bucks each.
If all they do is sit and watch Judge Judy all day, you should buy them an Eve online subscription, teach them the basics of mining, and let them have at it. After a while of having tons of ore, sell the ore, then sell the gold online to some gold buyers!
SNES + Harvest Moon.

I'm not going to exploit them, and they dont have internet anyway.

Goddamn it, beat me to it. I used to love these games. They're awesome. I would still be playing if I could find my copy.
Oh yeah, I also forgot about Harvest Moon. That game is also kickass.
Theres a farming simulator called, oddly enough, Farming Simulator 2009. It is very detailed. I recommend it if you have a comp that can handle it. There are tons of mods for it, and you actually run the machinery. http://www.landwirtschafts-simulator.de/ The game is made in Germany, but the site is in english. It costs $20, and there is a gold edition update for $7. I don't think the gold edition would be worth it though because of the vast amount of free mods for the game.
For some reason it's hard for me to imagine old people playing video games.
