“I was only going to fire a couple of shots if no one confronted me,”
What were the hunting knives for? Why.. why do they always have hunting knives?
Aaaand this is why the Secret Service has to investigate "I'm going to shoot the president" posts on here
Aaaand this is why the Secret Service has to investigate "I'm going to shoot the president" posts on here
But if I was going to shoot the president, why would I tell people about it on an internet forum?
But if I was going to shoot the president, why would I tell people about it on an internet forum?
Smart people don't even need to think about shooting a US president, cause, you know. All them people with guns protecting him.
But if I was going to shoot the president, why would I tell people about it on an internet forum?
Because people who try and shoot the president generally aren't known for their good judgement.
What were the hunting knives for? Why.. why do they always have hunting knives?
I bet he needed the knives for melee attacks against guard dogs, you don't waste ammo on guard dogs.
But if I was gonna stab the president, why would I tell people about it on an internet forum?
All I can see because of your avatar.
But if I was going to shoot the president, why would I tell people about it on an internet forum?
For all the ~wicked nerd cred~, obviously.
why do the news outlets always make sure to note it was a "semi automatic" handgun? pretty much every handgun you can buy commercially is a semi auto afaik
why do the news outlets always make sure to note it was a "semi automatic" handgun? pretty much every handgun you can buy commercially is a semi auto afaik
Lotta crimes being comitted with muzzle-loaders. Gotta keep the public informed.
why do the news outlets always make sure to note it was a "semi automatic" handgun? pretty much every handgun you can buy commercially is a semi auto afaik
No. Semi-automatic is a specific type of common sidearm. Revolvers are also insanely popular as well, which are not automatic in any regard.
why do the news outlets always make sure to note it was a "semi automatic" handgun? pretty much every handgun you can buy commercially is a semi auto afaik
Well, when most people refer to semi automatic handguns they refer to guns other than revolvers. I suppose they wanted to verify that it wasn't a revolver for whatever reason.
where the fuck does it say National Socialist, op?
Well, when most people refer to semi automatic handguns they refer to guns other than revolvers. I suppose they wanted to verify that it wasn't a revolver for whatever reason.
Just by the way I think about it a double action revolver is technically "semi auto" in regard to one shot per trigger actuation.
why do the news outlets always make sure to note it was a "semi automatic" handgun? pretty much every handgun you can buy commercially is a semi auto afaik
why the hell not? they dont need to be specific about what kind of gun it was.
I wonder if there are any Secret Service agents browsing Facepunch right now
Hi [editline]19th July 2013[/editline] Here's my card:
Just by the way I think about it a double action revolver is technically "semi auto" in regard to one shot per trigger actuation.
Usually not. A Semi-automatic entails that all actions required to fire the subsequent round is completed after the first shot and is ready for fire immediately after the disconnector is disengaged and the sear is reengaged. A double action revolver requires the hammer to pull all the way back, lock, disengage the sear, and strike the primer for each shot, which is not in itself a feature of an automatic mechanism.
Perhaps the words BREAKING NEWS have a different meaning to me...
why the hell not? they dont need to be specific about what kind of gun it was.
Doesn't hurt though, if they have that info they may as well include it
Doesn't hurt though, if they have that info they may as well include it
yeah, you're right. but i dont think its anything to complain about
