I know that for sure I won't let my kids touch the devil's lettuce.
I loled everytime there was a quote by "Wang"
Symptoms of marijuana poisoning in children include sleepiness and balance problems while walking.
They're feeling the "normal" effects of cannabis. Decrease the dosage and these symptoms will vanish or be less pronounced.
Yay for media...
I love how it says right in the article there were no deaths or lasting effects.
Know why it says it? Cause it's fuckin impossible. All you're doing when you're taking some kid into the er cause he's "overdosing" is taking someone to the hospital cause they're tripping to hard.
By this articles standards Percocet is poisoning the everliving shit out of anyone who goes to the ER

Just like one of the commenters said on the site, fucking Tylenol is more dangerous than pot.
Lold so much at
Children recover quickly in most cases, Wang said. "They don't need more than a day or two of hospitalization," he said. "There were no deaths or lasting side effects."
Oh fuck. On the attached article "8 Facts..."
8 Facts You Might Not Know About Medical Marijuana
1. "Marijuana" is a Mexican term that originally was applied to low-quality tobacco.
I have not yet made it passed this sentence, I'm sure it only gets better...

I was surprised that that article is mostly neutral facts
OH MY WHAT
After decriminalization, 14 children -- mostly boys and some as young as 8 months -- were found to have ingested marijuana. Eight had consumed medical marijuana, and seven ate marijuana in foods. Two were admitted to the intensive care unit.
I found most, if not all side-effects of cannabis are negated with regular use, regular not meaning larger doses.

You should play Dark Souls if you haven't already. Not under the influence though until you get better :v: feel the need to say that in this forum, at least.
guys i just smoked 5 poisonous marijuanas, call an ambulance. and a pizza delivery place
In many cases, the marijuana came from their grandparents' stash, the investigators said.
Sounds like they learned their lesson imo.
neva steal from the big guns
i stole a ciggy from my grandpa once, almost died trying to smoke it next to gas canisters
Fuck I might get a poison from this shit!!! I bet it's as bad as cigarettes and stuff!
tbh if you were a little kid and you ate a few cookies with no tolerance and low body weight it would be a really shitty experience
its almost like you should lock away or label weed brownies, just like you do with alcohol
It's always frustrating to see the 'but what about the children' argument. This is a product not meant for children just like alcohol, prescription drugs, hell even automobiles. When a child takes their parents car for a joyride you always turn to the individual (where were the parents, how did he get access, etc). But the second a kid either intentionally or accidentally consumes weed people lose their shit wondering why oh why a society would allow such a drug be available and so easily accessible to kids. Because you know teaching responsibility through social norms are useless against regulating society, like how its become shameful to drink and drive, go to work drunk, keep your booze from your kids, or be intoxicated in front of kids, naw that shit doesnt work.
This is absolutely fucking outrageous. People demonizing weed are the worst. Atleast the comments are all calling the article bullshit. Last thing I wanted to read there would be some "like for jesus" faggots.
"help the marijuannas make my children ded :(((("
How did they treat them in the Hospital? Drive to McDonalds and get them the whole menu?
Fuck I might get a poison from this shit!!! I bet it's as bad as cigarettes and stuff!
1 JOINT IS 14 CIGARETS !!!!11!!!!one!!!1

Do you not see how a child unknowing eating edibles amd becoming INSANELY high could not be a serious issue? Not life threatening but terrifying and potential harmful to their mental amd emotional well being.
OR it could be really cool and pleasant
OR it could be really cool and pleasant
it probably wouldn't, as a single edible can contain more than 3 grams of marijuana.
that will probably get a kid so high that it will no longer be a nice experience, especially if the kid doesn't even know that he/she has ingested a mind altering drug.
OR it could be really cool and pleasant
I don't think getting drugged without realising it would ever be cool or pleasant... Maybe if you have done weed before you would be able to realise what was happening and you could piece it together - but imagine if you've never been high on the stuff and then your entire reality is warped, you'd panic and probably feel really sick and think you were dying or something.
[editline]2nd November 2013[/editline]
And that's on weed... imagine if you accidently went on a shroom trip, shit that'd be freaky.
There was a psychology experiment where people were given MDMA and were either told what it was or not. The people this knew what substance it was experienced the normal effects of MDMA and generally had a good experience. Those that didn't know the substance had anxiety and felt ill. Preconceptions are very important.
Even experienced tokers can have bad experiences with edibles by unknowingly consuming too high a dose, for a child I can only imagine how bad that would be.

Of course, why were they standing around like that in first place. Just like alcohol should be in secluded places and not easily accessible.
