I found this laptop with no cable charger with it in my garage packed away in a small corner, its probably been sitting there for years, now that I think about it. I've always loved taking things apart to see how they work, plus I thought I could get some spare parts out of it. So rather than throwing it out. I took it apart. I'm not a computer genius, so I thought I could ask you guys if you see anything worth salvaging.

I took out the speakers, graphics card with the fan (ATI Mobility-P Video Graphics Accelerator), processor, motherboard, HDD, LCD screen, CD drive, ram sticks, a few buttons I thought I could use, and the keyboard. I'm not sure what the part with the white tape over it is or the part connected to batteries with green tape over them. If anyone could inform me of what they are, I would appreciate that.

Not worth salvaging anything IMO. Better keep it assembled and use it for old games/software or something.
or do something like this if you're feeling adventurous.
