I haven't even seen the film but this ending is fucking awesome
Aw c'mon Chan, he was right there!
NO MERCY! C'MON!
Man, they need a movie about Jackie Chan kicking everyone's ass for no reason.
And gives them no mercy.
They should have this if they make a remake of The Karate Kid 2 at the beginning.
I wonder what's the real ending was?
I like this ending better.

Crap.
Edit:
Woah, mah automerge!
I would of enjoyed this movie so much more if they were 15-16 and not 12.
oh and if justin bieber didn't sing at the end

I can understand why this was the alternate ending though.. probably didn't want Jackie Chan stealing the spotlight at the end, and instead ended it with a highnote for Jaden..

it'd make more sense
What would make most sense is it should be titled Kung Fu Kid.
Jackie Chan is getting so old now, he's like 56.
We need a new kung fu star.
Jackie has experience, you're a dumb. Also, the first minute was great, but the rest seemed dragged out.
It also kind of doesn't make sense. Why the hell does he repeat those words, and Jaden has to stop him anyways? There's no indication in the entire movie to make us believe Jackie has a vendetta with this guy, or has anger boiled up... Well besides his wife dieing and all, but that was something totally unrelated.
thus why it is an alternative ending I guess

although I did enjoy it for the simple fact that he wasn't beating up children this time
best scene in the movie was when the girl started dancing, i got a huge boner

O'rly
I would liked the other ending better, haven't see this movie yet.

He seemed kinda scared of him when he went to the studio with the kid.
I guess
and yo metalhed dawg why u rating me dumb u think u can get away with it now or somethin naw homie u cant i dont appreciate ur input aight
That was cool, however the normal ending suited it better imo.
nice ending, i was looking forward to this after seeing the commercial. they should of made this the real ending it brought alot of closure and i think everyone wanted to see that guy get his ass kicked.

OH WOW never knew someone this dumb would post something on facepunch withought actually analyzing why he might have repeated the motto of the corrupted Tutor. The Reason why Jackie repeated the words in the end was because til the end the corrupted tutor doesn't really get a taste of his own medicine. In a way it was Jackie's way of reminding the Tutor that his method's were wrong and just plain cheap.
P.S Jackie does have anger boiled up. Throughout the movie Jackie has been teaching Jaden kung fu to defend himself from his bully. The reason why the bully was like that in the movie was because the tutor was corrupting him and his friends mine with the motto stated above.
Right, I haven't seen this movie. But that ending makes me want to watch it.
But I expect it to be crap compared to the original.
Am i the only one who didn't like the new karate kid :S I actually felt myself forcing myself to watch it (just to give it a chance)

If you felt like that then I'm not watching it at all.
Have you seen the original?

Original ones are awesome. Mr Miyagi was just a legend. Although it was clear that Jackie Chan wouldnt be able to replace him. But that was what ruined it. I felt the latest version didn't have as much energy and feeling to the movie like the 1st one did. Like you actually was cheering on for Daniel... Could be i just hate Will Smith's son tho xD lol
The first Karate Kid had a true likeability factor about it. I think the fact that it has the director of Rocky, has something to do with that.
You could see the guy crippling inside when he was being bullied. But the one thing that does it for me, is Miyagi kicking those guys arses and saving Dan from a beating. :v:
This Karate Kid was crap. Black kid can't act for shit.
This ending was much better than the real one though.

What happens in the new one?
Spoiler tag it.
Haha this ending is really not necessary.
Movie was kinda crappy, like, an alright film to see but nothing too good really.

Also, I fount this ending hilarious with the lack of epic fighting music and rough sound effects.
