• French ex-Minister accuses Prime Minister of being under "Jewish influence"
France's ruling Socialists rushed to condemn an aging former minister from among their ranks on Monday after he suggested Prime Minister Manuel Valls was probably acting under Jewish "influence". Valls has been vocal in his defense of Jews in France, both before and after the January Islamist attacks that killed 17 people, including four Jews. Roland Dumas, 92, who twice served as foreign minister under Francois Mitterrand, criticized Valls, saying the prime minister "has personal alliances that mean he has prejudices." "Everyone knows he is married to someone really good but who has an influence on him," Dumas told BFM-TV, without mentioning the name of Valls' Jewish wife, a violinist. Pressed to answer the question "Is he under a Jewish influence?" Dumas responded, "Probably, I would think so."
http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/02/16/us-france-jews-dumas-idUSKBN0LK1NY20150216
And there we go, more jew hate for no reason at all.
If they found him in bed with MOSSAD operatives (figuratively) or intercepted suspicious exchange of information with Israeli embassy (literally), it would be rather concerning and conflict of interest might be suspected, but "your wife is a jew" is a pretty low blow.
I wonder if Dumas is longing for the days of Vichy France?
Something tells me this video is now as relevant as ever.
France is in a constant battle with other European countries over "most racist country". Seriously, it's gotten worse every time I show up there. Muslims, Jews, and Roma are not safe in France.
. Muslims, are not safe in France.
Hahaha, no. Consider the fact that most of the anti-Jew attacks are by Muslims, and statistically most hate-crimes in France are not committed by native French people. Muslims are almost as safe as native French people in this regard. [editline]17th February 2015[/editline] The hate crimes in France aren't done by edgy French teenagers, most are by those with a foreign background that makes them hate jewish people.

Its not racist or stupid to say "the majority of anti-jew hate crimes are committed by Muslims". Its a fact. You deny facts whenever it suits your adgenda.

Jews are worried due to the rising levels of Antisemitism in Europe, and the Media wants to portray it as the second coming of Hitler and Nazism, when in reality its because there are so many Muslims in Europe who hate Jews.
It is obvious with rising numbers of muslims in european countries that the number of anti semite incidents is also rising
my friend convinced me to go to starbucks the other day. I too am under jewish influence and should not be allowed to make decisions
Why does everyone hate us We Jews have been through enough. Please, let us be :(
And the sad thing is that the people actually making it unsafe are blaming all of those people instead. See above for an example.
Why do you always have to act so smug yet be so wrong all the time?
Muslims are carrying out more attacks on Jews than non Muslims but that doesn't mean Muslims are safe from discrimination and it doesn't mean native French people are off the anti-semitism hook. Not many situations are ever that simple.
I don't see Jews going into mosques and butchering the people there like livestock while they're praying. I don't see Jews going into Halal Supermarkets and killing the people there. the list goes on...

Let's put two uncompatible religions together and act surprised when either religion starts doing extremist religion-motivated shit. =)

What makes this so different from the others, if not the current poilitcal standstill between Palestine vs. Israel who has since transitioned to Arabs vs. Jews.
France's ruling Socialists rushed to condemn an aging former minister from among their ranks...Roland Dumas, 92,
Ironic considering he is probably old enough to have witnessed what happened the last time there was a "Jewish Problem" in Europe.
The general consensus on this case here in France is that we should now properly check up on very old former politicians before inviting them to tv.
Muslims, Jews, and Roma are not safe in France.
Awww, accept them in the US then. They'll be safe there. No one asks about the natives. Ever. If you do, you're a racist who probably just hates muslims and gypsies.
Awww, accept them in the US then. They'll be safe there. No one asks about the natives. Ever. If you do, you're a racist who probably just hates muslims and gypsies.
Do you ever stop being an ignorant bigoted asswipe Calling the Roma community "gypsies" is about as rude and ignorant as calling someone with down's syndrome a retard. And what the fuck do you even mean about "natives"

Did you know the Jews control Israel? The majority of its citizens are apparently Jewish. Fascinating.

If you do, you're a racist who probably just hates muslims and gypsies.
You kind of sound like everything that is wrong with France. And the reason I don't want to study there. Look, America is far from perfect. There is no guarantee that they will be safe here, we have plenty of racists too. However, they will be much better off and safer here than in France. If it were my choice I would love to accept them.
Awww, accept them in the US then. They'll be safe there. No one asks about the natives. Ever. All three of those groups have integrated and been accepted far better in the US (and Canada) than they have in Europe.

Integrated people, catholics, secular etc. Born in France / Legally immigrated, loving France and its culture. Those who don't fit in the "muslim" or "roma" category. I'm not seeing any hierarchy there, as long as you love the country and pay some respect to its institutions, christian past, secular state and its culture, you're French to me. I couldn't care less your skin color or religion. Now that this is cleared up, in this case, everyone is always screaming about islamophobia and anti-semitism, while totally ignoring the daily harassment some catholics get. A few days ago a vandalized jewish cemetery got national coverage, while 200 christian cemeteries are attacked yearly.
Yeah and guess what? Resulting in those populations being incredibly lower percentage-wise than France or any European country. The US keeps giving European countries some morale lectures about their border policies when they're doing the exact opposite of what they're preaching. Your integration system, revolving around patriotism, works.

Every time a cemetery of any size gets vandalized near where I live it gets reported, regardless of who's buried there. It's a relatively rare event (I need to see where you got the 200 christian cemeteries a year statistic from, because I doubt there's sixteen cemeteries getting vandalized every month in France consistently, let alone specifically Christian ones) and it gets the attention it needs to get. Maybe it's because I live in a relatively small town, but people around here tend to be more right-wing oriented and the Christian community is alive and well so I don't see why they would decide to hide away all those cemetery vandalism you're mentioning.
Sure, you might change your mind if you ever study in Paris. Or any major city's university, to this matter.
Parisian universities are a fucking unlivable mess and you're delusional if you think they're somehow enjoyable to any extent. Same goes for most of Paris.
Of course they did, you keep your immigration under tight control. How can you even remotely imply that a country fifteen times the size of France somehow gets less immigration ? And since you're so god damn well versed into what exactly constitutes "native" population and outsiders, who exactly would you qualify as native in the US ? The Native Americans ? The immigrants from Western Europe who moved in a while back ? The black communities they brought along ? What about the constant giant waves of immigration that have been populating the country for so long ? What about immigrants that don't speak English at all ? It's all the more dumbfounding that France was built around multiculturalism. The French language itself was shaped based on all surrounding tongues, including Arabian. We've been having constant cultural exchange with North Africa and the Middle-East for centuries, dating from before the crusades. The country's geograhical position made it an ideal cultural and trade hub which favored constant exchange with all surrounding cultures. You're not going to make me or anyone with even a mild sense of history that somehow France was a perfect self-sufficient closed-up state where "The French" lived until immigration became a threat to our integrity. We are made of immigration.
