Can I smoke while on painkillers?

This might be a stupid question but I honestly don't know :v: Anyway I recently had surgery and my doctor prescribed me with Hydrocodon (Someone told me its noce to snort, too.) Is it ok to smoke while under the effect of this?

Snorting opiates is a dumb idea because the bioavailability is very very low through the mucus membranes in your nasal passages; they USED to be good to snort but they've changed pills since then.
Really if you wanna get fucked off your pills do a cold water extraction or just parachute the suckers if you're lazy.

Also yes it's fucking greaaaat to smoke weed on opiates; it helps with any nausea. As long as you don't start coughing and burst a stitch or something.

He didn't ask if he could get high, he asked if he can smoke while on them, and yes you can, you'll just get even more drowsy. as for snorting them, no it's not stupid to snort them because of low bioavailability, it's mainly because there's, correct me if I'm wrong, almost always APAP bound with hydrocodone, and tylenol (APAP) isn't good for your nasal passages. You can snort oxy's if you have enough of them and want to get fucked up right away, or want pain relief right away, and the only downside is they don't last as long, and you might not get quite as much out of them, because there is certainly less bioavailability, but it's still not "retarded" as it still works.

Also it's very doubtful that you'd cough on opiates, as they also inhibit coughing reflexes too. This is why it's easy to choke on vomit and OD on opiates.

lots of opiate pills work fine if sniffed, dilaudid in fact has much more BA snorted compared to oral, its considered a waste to eat dilaudids.

If the pills have APAP in them, do not snort them.
