I'm pretty sure that they manipulated the physics engine to increase the likelihood of grenades bouncing off of stuff that you don't want them to.
It was in that new patch.
Oh that happened with a friend I was playing with in RO1. I tried lobbing one up a staircase but instead it hit the ceiling right above me. My stiff little cradboard legs ran out of there as quickly as possible. My friend and another teammate ran by me as I was escaping and turned into a pile of gibs on the stairs :v:.
I'm so glad I bought this game. So many great moments have been endured. :v:

Now I know how to RO2 :) it was actually pretty entertaining. I'm still shit at it though :P
This is a really fun game but i'm quite shit at it so i never play. It's got a great feel to it though.

Everyone is shit at it at first. You really do have to get frustrated enough to force yourself to learn better tactics. If you go into this game thinking, "I'm going to get as many kills as possible as fast as I can" then you're just one of those guys running toward the enemy getting shot.
I like RO2 a lot, but I still feel it's not quite as good as the first one which I played for a long time. If Tripwire keep adding new tanks, maps and weapons like they do in all their other games (KF is a good example), it will most likely just be getting better and better.
I'm sort of glad that the free weekend is over. I got teamkilled just as much as I got killed by the enemy.
