So my PC has started doing this recently: Whenever i turn off my PC (shut down from START), it does it procedure and stops at the "Shutting down" screen. It doesn't freeze, the blue circe keeps going and going, i have waited maximum of 30 minutes and then manually shut it down by pressing down the button. Any kind of help is appreciated.
E: Yesterday i had to install some Windows updates, it installed them and it shut down perfectly but today is the same problem.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium edition.
What changed since it stopped shutting down properly?

Well i got a new Trust Laser Gaming Mouse about 3 weeks ago, that doesn't work when i shut my monitor off. But about the PC, nothing really changed, it just doesn't shut down...
Can you describe what hardware you have? Specs, etc. Any tests you've done on the hardware? Tried using a live Linux disc and see if it'll shut down from that? That'd rule out software issues.

Hope this is enough lol. I haven't tested my PC myself, don't know how to. Also i don't know nothing about the Linux thingy :| .
Motherboard brand? RAM brand, etc? Model numbers?

Live Linux disc... Download Ubuntu and boot to the live version. It'll boot the OS. See if you can shut it down that way. If you don't know how to do it... Look on YouTube.

I don't know if the RAM Brand is correct by me but it said Gigabyte?
My PC has shut down correctly 3 times now, if it shuts down like this few more times, i'll list the thread as solved.
