Background
Fuck Buttons is a two-piece noise/drone group based in London, England, consisting of Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power.
From Elvis Is Alive music blog:
How Mogwai (or even Sigur Rós) sounds like if they play electronic music? Maybe it would be something like "Street Horrsing" the first album of British duo Fuck Buttons, recorded, by the way, with the collaboration of John Cummings, one of the Mogwai guitarists.
Frequently crossing the border to noise and experimental music, this guys from Bristol deliver, in just 6 pieces, over 50 minutes of intense and quite cerebral electronic music, in which, perhaps in some kind of conceptual album, the songs are not only linked but almost all of them revolve over the same musical idea using the same elements, structures and sounds that makes us feel like the whole album is just one song executed cyclically with different nuances. Music that comes in waves, with dreamy beginnings that rising gradually until reach epic climaxes in which we are overwhelmed by uncontained loops, deranged screams and distorted voices.
Despite its repetitive and mechanical nature, the music from "Street Horrrsing" flows so playful and somehow, behind laptops, keyboards and other toys we can feel the "human" touch of Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power. First class electronic music, barely suited for the dance floor and absolutely freaky.
Isn't most of the members in this group gay?
There's only two members.
I liked the first track, although it was a bit too repetitive. They either needed to vary it up more, or shorten the track length. I would like it better if it were background music to something.
2nd track, not so much...
It's drone. It's supposed to be long, and it's not repetitive. It builds up.
And I don't see anything wrong with the second track. It's my favorite off of the album.
What a horrible name
Thank you for the contribution.
I love Fuck Buttons.
:swoon:
I have an obsessions with noise and drones. Once I get my analogue equipment in, I plan on making my own project..
I don't know, I don't really like them, their music is shit, imo.
I like the Fuck Buttons, if not just because their live performances are incredibly awesome. They make some decent songs too though.

Shameless six day bump.
Just sounds like the sort of music I'd listen to when high. I enjoy it in the same way that I enjoy ambient music, nice when I'm in the mood.

So is your post. What's your point?
You guys know everyone in Music either LOVES drone/noise or doesn't understand it.
Fuck Buttons rules. I love these guys.
I used to like this band a lot. I don't think they're too good an example of noise/drone and all their songs are the same, but they're still pretty good.
I like Fuck Buttons, they have some wicked songs, I have one of their albums.
Checking them out right now.. I've only heard their remix of Fever Ray's "If I Had a Heart"

When it's comes to drone/noise, it seems there is no grey area.
I think they're pretty cool
Sweet Love for Planet Earth is my favorite, but it's pretty cool background music.
