Girl, 6, thrown off squad over ‘booty’ cheer, Pedobear expresses dissapointment
A Detroit-area mom’s objections over a booty-shaking cheer got her 6-year-old daughter booted right off the cheerleading squad — and touched off a nasty war of words that’s pitted Jennifer Tesch against an intricate web of local authorities.
As sports cheers go, “Our backs ache, our skirts are too tight, we shake our booties from left to right!” isn’t likely to make Chris Rock blush. But when Tesch’s daughter Kennedy came home after practicing with her Madison Heights Wolverines cheerleading squad and demonstrated the routine, her mom was taken aback.
“I was in shock, and right away I addressed it with the coach and the general manager of the Wolverines,” Tesch told Meredith Vieira live from Michigan on TODAY Friday.

A former cheerleader and cheerleading coach herself, Tesch didn’t think the cheer was appropriate for a 6-year-old. But when she voiced her objections, she received what she believes was the classic runaround.
“The general manager was kind of like, ‘Well, we’ve been doing it that way for years and that’s the way it’s going to be,’” Jennifer Tesch said as she sat with Kennedy, her husband Duane, and their youngest child, Aiden
Did you actually watch the video.
That was the least suggestive suggestive cheer ever.

I understand the complaint but I think the mom was being oversensitive.
Our skirts are tight we shake our booties from left from right?
The fuck is wrong with these people? I don't think anyone wants their 6 year old daughter to say such words at a young age and shake her ass at the same time.

Isn't that how the world works these days?
:q:
but seriously, that's messed up

this is not the deciding factor between the girl growing up to be a whore or not
this is not the deciding factor between the girl growing up to be a whore or not
actually they grow up thinking that their personal appearance is the most important thing and get incredibly self concious
actually they grow up thinking that their personal appearance is the most important thing and get incredibly self concious
and all of that can be traced back to being a cheerleader and having that cheer?

Correlation =/= Causation.
Why are there 6 year old cheerleaders in the first place?
Why are there 6 year old cheerleaders in the first place?
Same reason why there's football for 6 year olds.
Correlation =/= Causation.
actually what hes talking about is more relate-able to the magazines and tv shows and movies where everyone spends more on makeup and makeup artists then people get for food in some countries.

tell me watching 6 year olds deck each other isnt fun
The same moms who endorse this because it's "cute" are probably the same moms that get scared shitless when Oprah airs pedo special of her show

It's still wrong to make a young girl use such odd words and a skimpy dance with it.
It's subjective.
Personally, I think "Shake your booty" is a classic dance phrase in our culture by now. It's not sexual. Nobody's fucking booties or fingering booties or smacking booties. Shaking = dancing.
So what is it? The skirt thing? I guess it's better than a loose skirt. Backs aching isn't much of a turn-on for me.
I know, I know. Six year olds don't have booties to dance with. We pretend their booties don't exist for the children.

That's some very good points, but I can see the amount of rap musics that say shake yo booty and stuff. So its a mixed bag...

"skimpy dance"
did you actually watch the video
It's a really really old cheer that they've been doing for a long time, what up
So what is it? The skirt thing? I guess it's better than a loose skirt. Backs aching isn't much of a turn-on for me.
The backs aching bit is a reference to large breasts causing them back pain iirc
I agree with the cheer being inappropriate
why is it inappropriate?
yeah they do this dance one day, the next day they're taking six dicks in their face at age 9, totally
irony
how the fuck is that irony
why is it inappropriate?
Why is it not inappropriate for six-year-old girls to suggest that they have exposing clothing and large breasts?
I'm of the opinion that our censorship is worse than the things we censor, but I can see it both ways.

In other news, the same family that recently complained about a cheer that was being performed by the "Wolverine" cheer squad is under investigation for suspected multiple generation inbreeding...
