Can I restore my Ipod to FAT32 after reverting it to NTFS??

I wanna format my old Ipod Nano to NTFS, so I can boot my Ubuntu ISO from it, (Ipods are formatted default in FAT32 and have a 4GB limit), I'm only gonna do this for a few hours until I can buy some DVDs. If I were to do this, will I still be able to restore it back to FAT32 later on?
Why is your ubuntu ISO bigger than 4GB?

I'm also gonna put my music library from Windows onto Ubuntu, I forgot to mention that.
Also, thanks alot for the answer Justice. I'm gonna try to install Ubuntu right now.
No PC I have used can even boot an NTFS formatted USB stick, so what is this thread for..? :raise:

What are you on about? my PC ran my NTFS formatted Ipod successfully and I installed Ubuntu.
You didn't need to...you can boot from and install onto FAT32 just fine. What kind of partition do you think Windows 98 used?
It's a 4GB limit per file, not for the whole partition.
convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs

convert drive_letter: /fs:fat32
Wouldn't it just be enough typing this in the commandline?
This is for windows though, i'm not sure if you're using linux right now, or if you're on windows.
You can't convert ntfs back to fat32 that way.

It can act as one, though, if the "Enable disk use" feature is enabled in iTunes.
