UXBRIDGE- The Blackstone woman who was living in a filthy home where police discovered the bodies of three infants is believed to be the mother of the babies and four other children authorities removed from the house, officials said today. Erika Murray, 31, was ordered held without bail following her arraignment in Uxbridge District Court today on charges, including "fetal death concealment out of wedlock," intimidation of a witness, and two counts of permitting substantial injury to a child. Police and workers wearing hazardous material suits swarmed the rat-infested home yesterday, when police made the stunning discovery of the remains of three infants.
Source: The Boston Herald
Holy fuck
"fetal death concealment out of wedlock"
what?
including "fetal death concealment out of wedlock,"
No matter how much I think about this, it's confusing as shit.
what?
It sounds like they are trying to charge her with as much as they can, going so far as to dig up some of the more esoteric, old laws they have. Not surprising when you consider she endangered the welfare of several children and killed three.
Blackstone? Jesus Christ, that's a twenty minute drive from my house. That's terrifying.
No matter how much I think about this, it's confusing as shit.
Right? Like, is there some other situation in which they treat it differently if you're married? "We found a dead kid!" "Well that's absolutely deplorable-wait, were the parents together?" "Yes." "Oh, well, that's different then."
what?
probably some old law that they would use against mothers who killed their newborns so they wouldn't be forced to marry a man.
No matter how much I think about this, it's confusing as shit.
It would also be a great name for a death metal song.
It would also be a great name for a death metal song.
"Three dead infants" is a good name
brb :suicide:
For anyone who didn't read she had the corpses stuffed behind clothes in a closet. She also had the skeletal remains of cats and dogs in her house. Her younger kids also don't even have birth records.
christ on a popsicle stick this is fucked up
probably some old law that they would use against mothers who killed their newborns so they wouldn't be forced to marry a man.
That's pretty fucking low to go just to avoid a forced marriage

I just shivered. Fucking hell
