Keep the Waypool "LEL CHIMICHANGAS XD" bullshit out of it and I'll be interested, but until I see reviews I'm not going to be too hopeful.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made the movie based off what they thought made Deadpool popular recently. Which sadly I think was Waypool.

If they're still going with the script that was leaked a while back (the one written by the Zombieland guys), then it won't be all that meme-riffic, IIRC.

I only know Deadpool from Video games, anything I've seen on the internet and what I've read on various wikis :/ (oh and Wolverine Origins eek) There are just so many comics out there I don't know what to read.

Thats from what ive personally ready and what ive heard, skip anything written by Daniel Way.

The only "good" (depends on if you consider that as something that can exist) memes come to existence completely unintentionally - see Nolan's Bane.

As someone whose never read the comics I understand that a pg 13 dead pool movie ISN'T a deadpool movie, it's a lame childrens movie, and that is that if this was pg 13 I really doubt it would be any good Deadpool is all about "going that far" and not limiting what happens, and even a non-comic-fan can understand that

If people wanna read DP then here's a rec chart. It's kinda out of date since the current run was only about a quarter of the way done when it was last updated but by now I'd rank the current series along side Joe Kellys and Cable and Deadpool.
