On the fact when he mentioned MGS1, that game also changed up the gameplay and mechanics as it progressed and thus experimented.
I never actually heard anyone complainig about A:I's length before tbh
it promised too much it asked too much
A good point well made. This seems like another case where the careless choice of ultimately irrelevant and meaningless words many reviewers use has yet again impeded communication to the public and to developers/publishers.

The complaint isn't that the game is short, it's that it costs $60 and is short. Portal was short, it was just simultaneously well-priced. People expect, rightfully so, about 1.2 hrs per tenbux they pay for a game.

It's a cool game that has a lot of neat stuff in it, but its dollar-to-content ratio is one of the worst in recent years.
if the The Order 1866 was a $30 it would have been fine.
He didn't even talk about how Ground Zeroes was panned by some Critics and players for it's 60 dollar price for a game that takes around 1-2 hours to beat. Sure there is but for a person who wants to just play the story, paying 60 bucks for what most people called it at the time a "Demo" is a waste of money.

[editline]2nd March 2015[/editline] at MOST it was $40 and that was only if you bought a retail copy, something i think only major fans would do that didn't mind the extra $10.

I think it was around 50-60 here in Australia before the price reduction.

Games are normally $90-$100 here, GZ was less at $60.
