Who hikes in the middle east? Clearly spies.

Especially if you're an American.

Exactly what I am saying. Why would anyone want to leave America? We have the best hiking in the world, and virtually every biosphere you could want to visit.

That's nice :)

I have this terrible feeling of deja vu
I have this terrible feeling of deja vu
He posted the same thing a few minutes ago in this thread, you probably saw it?
I'll believe it when I see them on a plane heading home.
I believe they are not spies when they are interviewed to detail.
I bet US made a deal with Iran to get them free.
Edit: Is it hard to believe USA has spies? If they get arrested US can always claim that they are innocent civilians being kept for false reasons invoking international "Tut tut" over anyone who captured them.

Canada has the best hiking. Sorry but you're wrong.

I would say Italy might take that.
Derailing the thread on reply number 2, good going.

Yup, America's mountains are tiny hills compared to the Alps.
An Iranian judge told the BBC he would release the men on payment of $500,000 (£316,000) bail each.

Basically Iran just kidnapped these guys and are ransoming them
Remember when iranian nuclear scientists were getting killed like flies?
That might be a valid reason to be paranoid.
Edit: Oh it is not? Well I guess they all just died through completely natural bullets and explosions.
Basically Iran just kidnapped these guys and are ransoming them
Iran's GDP is $818,700,000,000. $1m would not mean shit to them.
Edit
I see the thread title was edited, was there any particular reason why? Just wondering so I know for future reference.
Its nothing important. Its best to add that someone is simply claiming this, so it doesn't appear as fact. It was the original headline from BBC

Oh please, as if that government isn't as corrupt as corrupt gets. You know that $1m is going to be split up between 3 or 4 guys

I honestly doubt your logic.
'Bout damn time
I can't stand Mahmoud, but there's something weirdly endearing about him.
like a brown W. Bush.
Every time I see his name I know hijinks are afoot, and I'm almost excited to hear about them
