i recently got a fuzz factory pedal, but i did not think about how i have a crappy little line 6 amp to play it on, so it sounds pretty bad.. what would you recommend i get to use the fuzz factory to its best potential? that potential being crazy fuzz and space cat squealing noises!
What style(s) of music do you play most, and how much are you willing to spend?
maybe within the $100-500 range, and I generally play either hard rock or alternative
Do you want an amp with good distortion or is most of the gain coming from pedals?

Also, this.
i would prefer all of the gain be from the pedal and the amp be solely for clean sound

Vox or Fender would be your best bet, they have some of the best cleans you can find.

You can get these cheaper used. Great little amps, but try before you buy
I own a Fender Frontman 212R and it's my main amp. (Considering I don't have any others)
The clean is amazing, it comes with two channels and a reverb option.
The distortion for my amp is also pretty underrated, you can get a pretty awesome sound. And if you're into it you can mess it up to get feedback as much or less as you want.
I love feedback so much. But that's just me. So it works well
Get a line six spider

Vox Valvetronix+ is a good place to start in my opinion
I just got a Dean Markley k-15x and I love it. The fact that it was free and my previous amp was so bad It enraged me to play guitar on it may have something to do with that.
And was it one of those line 6 with effects on it? I love messing with that!
all I know is that DON'T get a cube.
