It's still a WIP.
Where can I find my Tint file? :raise: ...And why does it matter?
I assume you don't even use Tint.

Ah, well. I whipped up something here:
#--------------------------------------------- # TINT2 CONFIG FILE #--------------------------------------------- #--------------------------------------------- # BACKGROUND AND BORDER #--------------------------------------------- rounded = 0 border_width = 0 #background_color = #000000 60 background_color = color opacity opacity = 0 border_color = #ffffff 18 rounded = 5 border_width = 0 background_color = #ffffff 40 border_color = #ffffff 50 rounded = 5 border_width = 0 background_color = #ffffff 18 border_color = #ffffff 70 #--------------------------------------------- # PANEL #--------------------------------------------- panel_monitor = all panel_position = bottom center panel_size = 100% 26 panel_margin = 0 0 panel_padding = 7 0 font_shadow = 0 panel_background_id = 1 wm_menu = 0 #--------------------------------------------- # TASKBAR #--------------------------------------------- #taskbar_mode = multi_desktop taskbar_mode = single_desktop taskbar_padding = 2 3 2 taskbar_background_id = 0 urgent_nb_of_blink = 100 #taskbar_active_background_id = 0 #--------------------------------------------- # TASKS #--------------------------------------------- task_icon = 1 task_text = 1 task_maximum_size = 140 35 task_centered = 1 task_padding = 6 3 task_font = sans 7 task_font_color = #ffffff 70 task_active_font_color = #ffffff 85 task_background_id = 3 task_active_background_id = 2 #--------------------------------------------- # SYSTRAYBAR #--------------------------------------------- systray = 1 systray_padding = 0 4 5 systray_background_id = 0 systray_sort = left2right #--------------------------------------------- # CLOCK #--------------------------------------------- time1_format = %H:%M time1_font = sans 8 time2_format = %A %d %B time2_font = sans 6 clock_font_color = #ffffff 76 clock_padding = 1 0 clock_background_id = 0 #clock_lclick_command = xclock clock_rclick_command = orage #clock_tooltip = %A %d %B #--------------------------------------------- # BATTERY #--------------------------------------------- battery = 0 battery_low_status = 10 battery_low_cmd = notify-send "battery low" bat1_font = sans 8 bat2_font = sans 6 battery_font_color = #ffffff 76 battery_padding = 1 0 battery_background_id = 0 #--------------------------------------------- # TOOLTIP #--------------------------------------------- tooltip = 0 tooltip_padding = 2 2 tooltip_show_timeout = 0.7 tooltip_hide_timeout = 0.3 tooltip_background_id = 1 tooltip_font_color = #OOOOOO 80 tooltip_font = sans 10 #--------------------------------------------- # MOUSE ACTION ON TASK #--------------------------------------------- mouse_middle = none mouse_right = close mouse_scroll_up = toggle mouse_scroll_down = iconify

Typical, full desktop environment user.
...what's wrong with full desktop environments? I like functionality over shaving clock cycles. It's not like we are running Pentium II computers with 128MB RAM anymore, this is the quad-core era, with 4GB average.
Typical, full desktop environment user.
Heh. Well. It's a taskbar program. Big whoop. Why don't we just all post our .bashrc files? At least we all have 'em, however uninteresting the whole idea is.
Or how about out openbox rc.xml? Even though it's still limited to openbox users, it is more broad. I'll post my rc.xml file later. My keybindings are pretty funny.
I don't know about you but I like my full customizability.
I get that too, but with nice aesthetics to go with it.
I get that too, but with nice aesthetics to go with it.
Have you seen my desktop? This is just openbox. Are you telling me, that it doesn't look good?
It doesn't. It looks bland and boring, like something out of 1995. Sorry, just being honest. I like my Transparent glass effects, Compiz, and custom icons. I also like having a semi-transparent Terminal with colors of my choosing.
I can add transperancy if I want to. And those are custom icons. And I can use custom colors in terminal too. I just choose not to do any of those things, because it looks bad. But I also got to style my panel to my liking. I still love you though.
I hate your Compiz and bloated, overloaded desktop environment ;)

Naw, it's just a connection thing. It does standard connection and wireless http://projects.gnome.org/NetworkManager/
Naw, it's just a connection thing. It does standard connection and wireless http://projects.gnome.org/NetworkManager/
What are the odds of a wireless cardbus, working out of the box, in only openbox?
unlikely, depending on the distro. If you're lucky HAL will pick it up.
unlikely, depending on the distro. If you're lucky HAL will pick it up.
Arch?
You might get lucky with it. Don't count on it though.
You might get lucky with it. Don't count on it though.
Ya, that's not a risk I'm willing to take. But will my ethernet cardbus?
