In this thread you can just post theories, cool ideas or things that you thought of when you were high that you wouldn't usually think of when sober. (You don't have to be baked while posting) My story: So I was just laying alone in my room one night, it was about 15 minutes after smoking a joint. I had my fan on it the lowest setting/speed possible and I just stared at it. I began to wonder, if you turned on the fan could it create some kind of portal that monsters or demons would slowly peak out and look at you, they would do this to study or monitor you to get information about humans, to study. I figured that they were always watching you when you had your fan on, but the only way to see these monsters was if you were baked and you were looking at the fan. The monsters were scared that their operation would be destroyed if any humans ever saw them. So the monsters would call upon lobbyist to give them gold and jewels and any riches that they desired, and in return the lobbyist would lobby politicians to keep cannabis illegal so that their operation would never get discovered. And that is why cannabis is illegal today. It freaked me the fuck out and I quickly went to turn off my fan after.

I've actually been reading a lot of Nietzsche lately, really interesting if you read something accompanied by someones interpretation.
think about this. Where does the beginning of thought come from? Or even action. Ive learned a bit about the brain but ive always forgotten to ask the professor as to what is the overall start of the action potential. What i mean is, where does the initial spark/depolarization/neurotransmitter release happen, and how? What caused it to go off, was it out of nothing? Probably not, but its got to start off somewhere, it cant be energy created out of nothing.
dat feel when you take a heroic dose of a psychedelic drug and figure out the secrets of the universe and then you sober up and forget everything/cant explain it in words
Had a long trip with a good friend of mine. this was what we came up with as a result: We're just tryin to find out... what's goin on?
What if this reality is the high from some drug we took in another life? (something along those lines) - Frank Ocean
What if this reality is the high from some drug we took in another life? (something along those lines) - Frank Ocean
Shittest drug ever why did Me in the other life think it was a good idea to take it
Shittest drug ever why did Me in the other life think it was a good idea to take it
well what if you came out of the high with a lesson learned about life. a whole life in this reality could easily teach us invaluable things wherever we supposedly really came from.
well what if you came out of the high with a lesson learned about life. a whole life in this reality could easily teach us invaluable things wherever we supposedly really came from.
This reminds of the "The Egg" story, but with drugs. My first shroom experience had me on some philosophical shit. The road turned to faces which then turned to doors, then geometrical shapes, until a 3d sheet of diamonds formed.
Visuals arent really that philosphical
stormcharger you're wrong because visuals are deep and if its deep well then we know its philosphical
Visuals arent really that philosphical
But they can queue some interesting thoughts, while on a hefty dose of 2c-b halfway through I thought I was a drifter in my upper 20's living in a semi-built house. My phone looked broken, shimmering cracks across the screen, then I got a call from a not-so-trip-friendly individual and got into a massive downward spiral leading to the ultimatum of me realizing I was dead from drunk driving.
What if cat was spelt dog
I used to believe in god until I realised it was just dog spelt backwards
My first shroom experience had me on some philosophical shit. The road turned to faces which then turned to doors, then geometrical shapes, until a 3d sheet of diamonds formed.
what dosage did you take?
My first shroom experience had me on some philosophical shit. The road turned to faces which then turned to doors, then geometrical shapes, until a 3d sheet of diamonds formed.
Neat.
dat feel when you take a heroic dose of a psychedelic drug and figure out the secrets of the universe and then you sober up and forget everything/cant explain it in words
what if what these "answers" we make up are actually the truth like, if all the answers to life, the universe and everything else were in our brains already, but we needed something to get them out
I'm stuck between trying to live up to the social norms in my environment or be true to what I believe is right.
Unplug.

Probably not, but its got to start off somewhere, it cant be energy created out of nothing.
From every action, there is an opposed and equal reaction. That would be the paraphrased quote of newtons law of motions, most of us have deemed this axiom to be true by logic. Evolution established the brain to be a tool of reflection upon your environment, ironically creating the one subjective existence we cherish with our life, as it condemns free will to illusion. Even requiring external stimuli to function properly, it's a biological reflective catalyst branded with DNA to fulfill the one true purpose of life; self preservation. Our manifestation of this is the conscious mind, an actual experience of the reactions caused by our surrounding environment, blinding ourselves with justifications of our actions. As we can not define ourselves as anything else but what we experience, we will always have the illusion of free will. This is the very fabric of our existence, the integrity of living identity.
