Hello everyone. I just replaced my power supply after it short circuited. Luckily, all of my parts are okay. But after doing a repair on my HD because my mouse wouldn't work, it gets stuck at the desktop screen before the Windows Explorer loads. What should I do?
control alt delete, new task, explorer.exe
That doesn't work. It's stuck just before you can use the keyboard for that.
What "repair" did you make to your HD to get your mouse to work?
The boot-up disk from Windows XP Pro. It starts in Safe Mode, just not in normal if that's any help.
Have you tried running a ScanDisk in safe mode?
