I cannot wait! Copied from The VMan below: There's more than just multi-wires: -Wingsuit -Controllable wire tension (so you can reel things into eachother) -Underground areas and caves -Denser environment overall -Improved vehicle handling, physics, and damage systems. -Improved destruction systems (destruction is described as "cascading" so if you knock down something big, chances are it will knock even more stuff down and cause a chain reaction.) -Destructible bridges -Rather than being attached to a certain point on a vehicle when standing on it, Rico can walk all around on top of a vehicle. -Trains (and derailment, look at :47 in the trailer) -Improved AI system that scales depending on what you are doing (jump in a tank and the enemy will start sending more rocket troopers) -Enemies also appear to be able to attack you in tanks as well now (hopefully jets too but that's just me speculating) -Unlimited C4 and Grenades -Increased the number of weapons you can carry (2 on the back and 2 in your holsters) -Some crazy new weapons, like multi rocket launcher that can lock on to 9 targets, or the shotgun grenade launcher seen at :38 in the trailer. -There's been some mention of random events (though I'm not sure what that will entail) It looks like it's gonna be packing way more than JC2 did.
not the best looking, but as long as its fun as JC2 I don't really mind
pre-order bonuses ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh avalanche this game is probably great but come on man
Not really much gameplay :L
Not really much gameplay :L
That was 100% gameplay.
probably meant from a players perspective and not a detached camera perspective
That was 100% gameplay.
It's all in-game footage, but there's not really much actual gameplay, it's just scrambled around footage.
Looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed Just Cause 2.
Should be an interesting release, the one thing about JC2 for me is the Engine. Would be interesting how this one comes along
It's all in-game footage, but there's not really much actual gameplay, it's just scrambled around footage.
It shows the game being played. It's not shot from a player's perspective, but it's still the game being played.
It shows the game being played. It's not shot from a player's perspective, but it's still the game being played.
Technically a cutscene is the game being played.
Technically a cutscene is the game being played.
Except that the player isn't doing anything then? This trailer shows nothing but the player actively doing things.
This game looks so good, there really aren't enough games where the goal is to blow up fucking everything.

I sorta hope there's a Contrast/Saturation option in the settings, because everything seems a tad too eye burningly colourful right now :v: [editline]28th April 2015[/editline] Holy shit Multiple wires without a trainer?
I was kinda hoping the entire "red is what you can destroy everything else lolno" thing would be gone, still looks fun though.
I wanna see the specs required to make it look that good, mind.
I just hope to god the hired some half decent writers and voice actors. JC2 cutscenes where literally painful to watch.
"Holiday 2015" thank you for that descriptive and objective timeframe, looking forward to it!
Preorder bonuses are pretty much a directive set by the publisher. A lot of developers have to deal with it and often have to cut parts of the game to refurbish as a preorder bonus because the publisher told them to (Metro Last Light is a good example of this).
Technically a cutscene is the game being played.
Are you always this salty...or?
"Holiday 2015" thank you for that descriptive and objective timeframe, looking forward to it!
It means Christmas.
I wanna see the specs required to make it look that good, mind.
Just cause 2 looked great and ran on fairly low end hardware very well.
pre-order bonuses ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh avalanche this game is probably great but come on man
Not the first time they did this
It means Christmas.
Oh. I was hoping it was referring to summer break in America which would be mid-year-ish
pre-order bonuses ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh avalanche this game is probably great but come on man
who cares its singleplayer
I was kinda hoping the entire "red is what you can destroy everything else lolno" thing would be gone, still looks fun though.
All the things that matter are red anyway.
Did I just see Rico derail a motherfucking train at about 47 seconds in?
I just hope to god the hired some half decent writers and voice actors. JC2 cutscenes where literally painful to watch.
Yeah, JC2 voice acting crossed the line of being campy and intentionally stupid into being outright objectively horrible.
Did I just see Rico derail a motherfucking train at about 47 seconds in?
Looks like some kind of bizarre land/roadtrain with ram at the front. There's no sparks or anything to indicate that this is a derailed train.
