Music-related Festival Threads V.1 - HOLY SHIT THIS MUSIC IS LOUD. - General

Hello friends. I was just curious have any of you ever been to a music festival and or big days on day concert. I am going to Mayhem Festival for the first time this year with my family. ( I have been offered since I was twelve but I was never really into this kind of music but I like it now so going it.) Lists what you have been to: Mayhem Festival (2011) Concert with System of Down (2005) Concert with Mudvanye/Lamb Of God/Shadows Fall/ Korn (2004-2009 sometime) Concert with Slipknot and Lamb of God (2002-2009 sometime in between.)

Never been to a concert in my life. Too introverted. I'd stand there and smile while everyone rocked out around me.

I've also come to appreciate bands I didn't care about after having heard them live.

Well if I had to go to a concert it would be Pink Floyd or Kraftwerk. I probably would enjoy that

I've never been to a concert because NO BANDS EVER PLAY IN MANITOBA FUCK. Keep thinking about going to something like Ash Borer, Alda or something like that but never do.

I've only been to a pair of Warped Tours, but those are good fun if you go with friends. Even if you don't really like the line-up. Last year we spent most of the day hanging out with this band from canada.
