Liberal Activists Upset Paris Terrorist Attacks Are Getting Attention, Not Mizzou Protests
Upon hearing of the terrorist attacks in Paris and the massive loss of life, social media focused on sympathy and prayers for the victims. But some people were upset not over the massive loss of life, but because the attention they’d been getting for protests over perceived racial injustices on college campuses was now being directed toward the 160 innocent murder victims in the capital of France.
Ughhh... Priorities
Retarded fucking idiots.
Are these people serious? Talk about lacking perspective; 140+ innocent people were just MURDERED.
There are no words to describe this adequately.
Notice how white people easily empathize w/victims of international terrorism while denying the domestic terrorism inflicted upon us.

Racist white people kill me, you want everyone to have sympathy for YOUR tragedy, but you have none for ours. #GetTheFuckOutOfHere #Mizzou

Now people are desensitizing #BlackLivesMatter & #Mizzou for what's happening in Paris, have you no common decency?

At least some real niggas being honest. Fuck a Paris, what's the move ?
I'll print that article, put it in a frame and hang it on a wall, so every time I think there's any hope for humanity, this will wake me up from that fantasy.
"Liberal activists"
Who? Some nobodies on twitter?

And here we start with the "No True Scotsman" fallacy.
Meanwhile a whole bunch of the posts they show are not even showing people upset over that. Shitty article trying to smear the protesters that can't even cherry pick social media posts well enough. A few social media posts doesn't = 'Liberal Activists' as a whole, and is really pretty meaningless.

Just like the whole christmas starbucks shenanigans?
I'm so sick of hearing about Mizzou. My college doesn't have any race issues, yet there's kids here trying to start shit to raise awareness about what's going on at MU. Who the fuck cares.
Calling them liberals is inaccurate, to boot. They have no interest in exploring alternative points of view.
im legit about 9/10 simmering with rage right now
How utterly, utterly expected of them. A massive tragedy takes more precedence over their minor political differences, and they cry foul.
is this what people call journalism these days?
posting people's shitty online opinions in order to get other people to post their own shitty online opinions in angry retort?
what's next, is huffpo going to start digging through youtube for racist comments on popular rap videos?
the idea that any assortment of online comments, regardless of their political leaning, is representative of any group is absurd.

Well yea, welcome to the era of "news bites".
Those people deserve some hot, fresh nightstick.
So, lemme recap a little bit:
- First tweet is not visible because she quickly changed her account to private (or it was previously private), probably to block the virtual beating she's been receiving.
- Second account, apparently deleted.
- Third account, still active and seems to be lovin' the attention, as in, "lolol so much saltiness"
- Fourth account, also locked.
- Fifth account, can't find that tweet. Probably he deleted it. But his TL is horrendous.
So far, it looks like this is just a bunch of whiners who like to stir shit up and then quickly hide when the tide turns against them.
They all seem to be getting blasted.
If anything, in this day and age we all know that Twitter is literally a public mouthpiece where everyone can and *will* say all kinds of stupid bullshit.
Those people deserve some hot, fresh nightstick.
On the contrary, we shouldn't make a martyr out of them, it'll only give them more reasons to believe they're right, and we're wrong...

It's unfortunately common, people just don't notice it because it's mainly directed towards right-wingers. There were articles about a supposed huge amount of anti-progressives opposed to the Force Awakens and Fury Road. Article writers cited three troll tweets for the former film and a single blog post for the latter film.
Writers tried to make it appear as if there was mass-dissent when it was actually less than five people.

Yea the fuck is this shit, this article is literally just a bunch of tweets.
Fuck. Off.
Westerners care about Western news. If one of the largest capitols of Europe just got attacked, THAT'S fucking news, if a large political protest happened in a country which has no influence on Western ideologies then that's a side story to western news. Fuck the right fucking shit off - 140 people just got killed in one of the largest cities in the world.

Would you prefer Salon's article about "Let Paris be the end of the right’s violent language toward activists
Real terror unfolds in Paris. Perhaps this will convince the right to tone down their incessant violent rhetoric"?
Today has literally gave me real no hope for humanity.
Jesus fuck...
These people are a joke. There's no reason to care about what these nobodies have to say.

Salon has been really falling downhill recently. People, especially political activists from their side, redefine or over-exaggerate words all the time. They've redefined racism, sexism, and violence to include implicit discrimination similar to how right-wingers have used "abusive language" like terrorism. According to the logic displayed in the opinion piece, no one should claim that the Mizzou incident was racist because the participants weren't lynched or shot like regular black people.
Wow, these people actually think their ~feelings~ are more important than human life. I already disliked these people but I think I might actually hate them now.

I'm calling it now, these people are to the left what the WBC and their ilk was to the right. This extremist horseshit is going to run the public's tolerance thin and the next political shift will be the fault of retards like this. Say what you will about how much of a douche trump is but he's proof that this is already happening. You do not belittle the dead before they're fucking cold unless losing the remainder of your public support is your goal.
I'm 99% sure this was started by /pol/.
They've been posting fake reports on fake twitter accounts about the situation on Mizzou all week. Stuff like the KKK being on campus or Nazi spaceships landing.

but they're literally nobodies on twitter...

I mean it's possible but if that was the case why would they remove/delete the comments? Besides I'm sure most of /pol/ would be a lot more interested in france..
