• Looking to Buy a New Monitor - £120 Budget

I'm looking to buy a new monitor as my current one is an old 14" CRT. I'm looking to get a cheap, but relatively high quality. I live in England. I don't really mind about the resolution, but I'd prefer a resolution above 1024*768. I would prefer to stay below £100, but I can probably stretch up to £120. I've been looking at four UK based sites which are trusted. I've found a monitor from each which seems reasonable, but I need some help to decide which is best. Thanks! ebuyer: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/126874 - £86.99 Overclockers: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-112-SA&groupid=17&catid=276&subcat= - £106.98 Novatech: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/Monitors/19inchMonitors/Novatech/NOV-19LCDF.html - £85.00 dabs.com: http://www.dabs.com/products/lg-electronics-19--wide-5ms-lcd-tft-silver-52K1.html?refs=42940000-12 - £94.80

if it's not for gaming/you can handle the res/don't mind lower quality from non-native res: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6705048/Trail/searchtext%3EACER+MONITOR.htm gonna pick up one of these myself at some point
That monitor looks good, Reapaninja. I have a GTX 275, would that be fine with that res? I don't mind lower quality. I will be gaming on it, however. If performance is an issue, would turning it down to its native resolution help? Thanks.
it's native res IS 1920x1080 should be fine, might need to turn settings down a little
Oh right. I'll probably buy that monitor then, thanks for the help.
Why the hell do people pay so much for monitors? Good god spend it on something better.

Look up the LG W2252TQ 22" 2ms 10000:1 contrast
Why the hell do people pay so much for monitors? Good god spend it on something better.
Nerds spend lots of money on computer stuffs.
Look up the LG W2252TQ 22" 2ms 10000:1 contrast
That's a bit out of my budget, on the sites I've looked on it was about £165, I am sure I could get that however the monitor reapaninja and Sgt. Pringles suggested looks just as good to me and it's £45 less. Thanks for the suggestion, though, I'll keep it in mind if I decide to get a second monitor on a slightly bigger budget.
Why the hell do people pay so much for monitors? Good god spend it on something better.
I don't feel £120 is much for a monitor. Generally, on all the sites I've looked on, the lowest price is around £80. That extra £40 is just the amount of a new game purchase, which I'd probably regret anyway, a monitor I'd have to appreciate every day. Thanks for all the help everyone!
Are you sure? I bought this for £120 last year, but I think it was on a deal :/
