about 30 minutes ago my internet cut itself off, but i didnt think much of it and ran windows diagnistocs. and it told me that theres wasnt even a cable plugged into the modem/router. i checked all my physical connections and they were fine, even swapped cables, but to no avail. as you can probably tell, my internet is fully working bar the pysical conection to my pc, can you help me diagnose the problem, facepunch?
please help :(
All I can think is the NIC has been broken. Have you tried a different port on the router, and have you tried reinstalling drivers for the NIC?

Check if the DHCP server is lending an IP to your wired PC Check the MF's website of your Ethernet adapter and see if there are any software updates for it. I can't think of any other good advice/suggestions.
