Not sure if this goes in a sub-section, don't think so, i'll throw it in here anyway.
I'm currently looking for a good camera along the lines of a CyberShot, Such as having good quality still photos and HD recording, currently my price range is about 300 USD or 225 Euro absolute maximum.
Currently i have my eye on [url=http://www.amazon.com/Sony-DSC-HX5V-Digital-Optical-Stabilization/dp/B00328HR76/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288587743&sr=8-1]this sexy beast[/url] as the 1080i recording is a definite yes, 10.2 Megapixel still capture is great for capturing nature and stuff.
Some people have recommended i try the new Flip cameras but they look a bit oversimplified and flimsy, the HX5V is the kind of camera i'm looking for but the price is a little steep at 214 Euro + Shipping, and in the reviews it outshines the Flip cameras in HD bitrates and quality, while defeating it's Cannon counterpart in still capture quality.
If any of you have good experience with a good camera that has HD recording or know where to get the HX5V for even less than the price above i'd like to know about it.
