Okay, so it's a time to change my old rig for something better.
To do so, I've wrote down some parts I am considering to buy.
(S) means that I already have these parts from old PC and I don't really think they need to be changed.
So here are my setups:
[[AMD SETUP]]
CPU : AMD X8 FX-8350 4.0GHz BOX
Motherboard : MSI 970A-G46 AMD 970 Socket AM3+
GPU : GeForce CUDA GTX660
Power : Corsair VS 550W ATX 120mm, EU version
HD : Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EARS (S)
Optical Drive : TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D ATA Device (S)
RAM : 2 x Kingston 4GB (1333MHz)
PC Case : X
[[Intel SETUP]]
CPU : Intel Core i7 3770K
Motherboard : AsRock z77 Extreme 6
GPU : GeForce CUDA GTX660
Power : Corsair VS 550W ATX 120mm, EU version
HD : Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EARS(S)
Optical Drive : TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D ATA Device(S)
RAM : 2 x Kingston 4GB (1333MHz)
PC Case : X
Let me know what should I change, I don't really have a certain amount of money, but it should be close to prices of these parts.
Also, I would like to hear your opinion on these processors, which of these are better ? I checked some tests on certain websites and one of them had a graph showing performance in few newer games like The Witcher 2, Crisis 2, Civilization etc. and mostly Intel Core i5 was beating AMD X8 FX-8350 not to mention i7 that beat the hell up of every other processor, but it might be faked as I heard that the website had some affairs with AMD owners.
I have also checked: http://www.jaki-procesor.pl/, it's a Polish website but shows prices according to the performance quite clearly, so no translating required.
Thanks in advance for all professional opinions/advices!
@Edit: I want to use it mainly for gaming
What are you planning on using the rig for? Just gaming or also video editing and the like?
Get the intel build, but swap the WD green for a WD black or blue, greens are damn slow, not to mention unreliable.

And if you're gaming, swap the CPU for an i5 3570k and use the dosh for a better gpu.
Because if you are gaming then you could go for the unlocked i5 and put the money towards a better GPU.

God damn it pepper.
I am planning on using it for Gaming, maybe video recording, but nothing bigger.
Yeah, then you'd be better dropping the CPU down to the unlocked i5 (I'm not specifying which because haswell is out very soon and you may wish to wait), getting a Hyper 212 or TX3 Evo depending on what will fit in your chosen case, and putting the extra money towards a higher end GPU.

Yeah well, I don't have a specified amount of money for this moment and prices in my country differ from yours, but if I was getting a new GPU, maybe some Radeon ?

You mean Hyper 212 Evo.
The regular 212 has the worst heat pipes at the bottom.
It's very hard to work without a budget, but really in gaming the i5 won't be bottlenecking until you get upto 4-card 2560x1440 sorts of builds.
What screen resolution do you use?

Yeah, just the regular 212s aren't really for sale any more (at least here) so I just assumed.
1280x960 and 1366x768
Can increase to 2048x1536 on the first screen thought.

Then A Tahiti LE (7870 XT) GPU would present the best value for money, assuming price gaps are similar in your country.
Well if you want to play naitivly at that res you will probably need SLI/XFire.

My 7950 can struggle at 2560xx1440.
Would it be good for games ? Would it run Crisis 2 on ultras ?
Also the price is quite similar to GX660.
Also I would like to add that if I bought that AMD, I would have more money because I would save 400zł on motherboard and 500zł on processor, thats 900zł more for GPU and it's great because then I would have enought money for two of Tahiti LE's or one better GPU.
@Edit: Quick fix up, I would save 500zł IF I was about to buy AMD instead of i7, so I save 100zł on AMD instead of i5.
So if I bought AMD I would save 600zł in total.

If you went AMD for motherboard+CPU, you'd be wasting your money on a high end GPU.
Go for the i5.

The Tahti LE is better for games than the 660 at the same price.
The red on is Tahti LE

So i5 3570K and Tahiti LE (7870 XT), is that correct ?
What about motherboard, is it good ?
