A police report obtained by the Chronicle said, “Not only did Conrad tell Carter in several of his texts prior to his death that he was scared and didn’t want to leave his family, she continued to encourage him to take his own life, and when he actually started to carry out the act, he got scared again and exited his truck, but instead of telling him to stay out of the truck ... Carter told him to ‘get back in.'" Carter's Facebook page includes postings indicated she organized a softball tournament last summer to support mental health awareness.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/27/teen-encouraged-friend-to-commit-suicide_n_6771964.html
After writing one friend to say, "I'm losing all hope that he's even alive," Carter texted Roy, "Let me know when you're gonna do it," according to a police report. Carter, now a senior at King Philip High School, had a "full understanding" of the suicide plan, and in the days leading up to Roy's death "not only encouraged Conrad to take his own life, she questioned him repeatedly as to when and why he hadn't done it yet," the report said.
Jesus fucking christ
I expected this to be more of an assisted suicide thing, but god damn.
"friend"
Manslaughter? That's a crime for people that didn't intend to kill someone, she clearly did, she should be charged with murder.
Good, what a piece of shit
Carter's Facebook page includes postings indicated she organized a softball tournament last summer to support mental health awareness.
??? Taking this into account it's even more surprising that she was big enough of an asshole to do this.
??? Taking this into account it's even more surprising that she was big enough of an asshole to do this.
Most likely less because she wanted to make a difference, but rather to pamper her own ego.
why would you pester someone to kill themselves what the christ
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information

when he actually started to carry out the act, he got scared again and exited his truck, but instead of telling him to stay out of the truck ... People like this make me wonder what some people are coming to...
If it's true that she really did encourage him to commit suicide instead of getting him help then that is incredibly horrible, but I think we should all wait with jumping on the hate wagon until some more details are known or she has been found guilty, the article is not exactly clear about all the details. Although the part about her telling him to get back in the car is certainly disturbing.
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information
They told us that she encouraged him through multiple messages all while messaging other people about how "she has lost all hope" hes even alive. This is a sick manipulative psycho who killed a kid in hopes of getting sympathy from other people over how ''distraught'' she is. You have to be completely stupid to not see what this was.
Who the fuck helps assist suicide? Bitch ain't no Euthanasia specialist. She better not be one of those chicks who want a "Get fame quick stories" because her life is boring and sadistic as fuck.
jesus people when did i say it was acceptable? she should be punished but it's starting to annoy me how people just want to lock people up for decades after being told the general idea of a situation and nothing more Yeah its messed up and yes punish her ..but between texts and a bandwagon of hate what do we actually know of the situation? and people wonder why the justice system is fucked up "a man was found dead today with a suspect in custody beca-" " ELECTRIC CHAIR!" yeah yeah i know dumb's ahoy for the logic boat

There isn't really anything conclusive in the article about it, and there could be a million reasons why she did what she did, so how about we hold off with the presenting guesses as facts.
There isn't really anything conclusive in the article about it, and there could be a million reasons why she did what she did, so how about we hold off with the presenting guesses as facts.
Fucking thankyou! so sick of the hatred instantly splurghed around in situations where people dont actually know shit usually i keep quiet but its happened so much recently i was starting to think the brainless was starting to outnumber normal humans
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information
Why do you jump to the conclusion that this guy was a complete asshole and deserved it?
What the fuck is wrong with that girl.
When my brother committed suicide, we had a bunch of his friends come out to tell us about how they never could have known and how sorry they were. They all got tons of sympathy from teachers and students because they lost a friend. But when we checked my brother's phone, he had been talking TO THEM about suicide and asking about it. They knew, they just never told. Whether they didn't tell because of something as disgusting as this girl's reasons I couldn't tell you. But I know one thing, people like this make me sick. When someone commits suicide, there are always people who want to seem more hurt and get the sympathy. Like some kind of sick popularity contest.
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information

If it's true that she really did encourage him to commit suicide instead of getting him help then that is incredibly horrible, but I think we should all wait with jumping on the hate wagon until some more details are known or she has been found guilty, the article is not exactly clear about all the details.
Why do you jump to the conclusion that this guy was a complete asshole and deserved it?
Honestly that post was worded pretty poorly, but you are also putting words in his/hers mouth, they never said he deserved it.
Why do you jump to the conclusion that this guy was a complete asshole and deserved it?
once again ..when did i say he deserved it? there's always a reason regardless of wether people want to find out or just shout a lot about it Maybe she had a reason ...fuck i was just picking one from the top of my head I've met a lot of people who act like complete and utter fucknuggets who secretly wanted to off themselves..listen very carefully ..im not saying what she did wasn't wrong ..i'm just wondering WHY rather than just shout at the police to give her a life sentence because everyone else is EDIT: i keep forgetting which forum i'm on and that defending logic here is sorta like pitching a tent on train tracks so i'm gonna leave it there either way feel free to join in and shout out what you think her punishment should be instead of wondering any reason behind why The best punishment idea gets a cookie....or something
or maybe the guy was a complete asshole to her or did something horrible and she so was sick of his shit she wasn't thinking straight? seriously why does facepunch always jump to the "string them up" response ..they haven't exactly given us a lot of useful information
She made him kill himself. I don't think anything can justify that.
what a dumb bitch
once again ..when did i say he deserved it? there's always a reason regardless of wether people want to find out or just shout a lot about it Maybe she had a reason ...fuck i was just picking one from the top of my head I've met a lot of people who act like complete and utter fucknuggets who secretly wanted to off themselves..listen very carefully ..im not saying what she did wasn't wrong ..i'm just wondering WHY rather than just shout at the police to give her a life sentence because everyone else is
Doesn't matter if she had a reason, and no one is saying she should get life in prison, the most 'extreme' thing people are suggesting here is for her to be tried for murder
From this article:
Police also found a message Carter sent to a friend about the investigation just over a week after the suicide, expressing fear that she might be in trouble. “They have to go thru his phone and see if anyone encouraged him to do it on texts and stuff. . . . They read my messages with him I’m done. My family will hate me and I could go to jail.”
Now if that isn't admission of guilt, I don't know what is.
they have her fucking text records, there's no wiggle room here, she literally told this kid to kill himself and when he had second thoughts and wanted to back out of it she told him to get back into the truck like holy shit how much do you people need her "reasons" are entirely inconsequential unless in your mind there is somehow a rational reason to tell someone who is thinking of committing suicide to go ahead and do it
The details of her texts to the guy aren't something we know, her mental condition is not something we know, there's a whole lot of unknowns here, which is why I think we shouldn't be making up motives and stories and be calling people names. There's a reason we have courts that judge people as objectively as possible.

Do you think she isnt able to do anything bad because she is a girl?
