Erm, I expect so, but I don't really know much about bass guitars and pedals. I could tell you how to get the same sound with a synth but with anything other than that, I'm pretty clueless unfortunately.

Wow, Re-Con way to bring a guy down. Atta, you're gonna need to sift through a lot of fuzzes, octavers and bass synthesizers to find that kind of sound, but fortunately you have a lot to sample. BOSS has its own bass synth, the SYB-5 but that may not be fuzzy enough; Electro Harmonix also has a graphic synth for the bass which I think will get you the sound you need. All you REALLY need, though, is to find a pedal that has an octave up fuzz effect, so you can also go through all the other pedals out there from Zvex or CoPilot FX if you want to sound like some horrible robot monster.
Sounds a bit like an effect I can get outta my Line6 Lowdown amp.
