I said it before, and I'll say it again. Swat 4 with improved graphics. And the ability to zip-line.
Still isn't looking that great compared to newer games. Doesn't look like that much of an improvement over those first screenshots.
YES.
yes
It won't be as good as you think.

Or...maybe if you really, really liked Swat 4.

'Cause I have a feeling that there's some vital gameplay aspect he'll miss out on, and then we will have our CS2. With Swat graphics. And kids.
I love this kinds of game, I'm hoping they incorporate support for the novint falcon.

That would be awesome.
I'm hoping for some sort of close/open beta that we can get into. I'd like to try this before I'd think of putting money into it.
This still the source engine right? Looks like they improved the shadows. In Dr Bob's shots at the OP shots.
They should make the HUD look better.

Looks fun though
I'll probably end up buying it even though it looks pretty meh
I want my CS:S2!
none of the photos have AA
Real-like weapon design?
The guns are still incorrectly mirrored.

The average gamer won't care. As long as it looks vaguely realistic, it's 100% realistic to them.
I've seen better looking maps by the community.
This is going to be interesting.
I lol'd at the photoshop job on this pic:

The quality clash between the models and the background is... almost offensive.

lol that looks like a HUD from a shit "realistic" Quake 2 mod. good to see that Gooseman hasn't progressed beyond a 1999 mentality for making video games
To be honest this looks a lot worse than CSS, in terms of graphics.
[editline]04:25PM[/editline]
Oh wait it isn't a sequel to CS at all. It just has the same kind of game type.
Damn, that game really, really, REALLY needs some AA RIGHT NOW!
This won't be paid, will it? It looks like total shit.
I love how you all knock it, seeing as Gooseman alone is worth more than all of you combined. He made counter-strike, and instead of seeing your way clear to give the guy, and the GAME a chance, you look at a few pre-release screens and shrug it.
Doesn't look a lot of good at this stage. Source engine is beginning to look its age.
It doesn't look too bad, from what I've seen. There was a gameplay video a while back and it looked decent. So far, though, it just looks like the quality of a fairly well-made Source mod. Not like a full retail game. I'll probably get it when it comes out though, as it seems to be a decent break from CS:S's general repetitiveness.

sorry to say this, but gooseman is pretty much a has-been that nobody cares about anymore.

Well feel free to not play it. I hope it doesn't suck, because then somehow you...will.
Looks more like goldsource
