Really looking forward to it, enjoyed every 'Tales of' game so far, hopefully it'll be a decent port.
My friends tell me to check this game out. Luckily I have a both a PS4 and a PC so if one sucks, I can get it for the other
Jesus the system requirements are lower than Valkyria Chronicles.
(Which is still $5 on Summer Sale, buy it folks)
There was a lot of backlash for this game, and not just for the early-game heroine disappearing after a certain point and having her own sub-story as DLC. Apparently the camera was really not that good, since the game did battles right there on the field rather than in a separate arena screen - which meant indoor battles could become an incomprehensible mess if the walls are too close. It breaks even worse if you play multiplayer, since it only focuses on player one's target and any other players are shit out of luck.
Since it's not out in America yet, obviously, I can't really say much, but here's hoping the localization team fixes some of these niggling issues - and if not that, then those porting it to PS4 and PC.
I'm happy to see many games coming to PC and Japanese companies starting to port their games to this platform.
Hopefully, the port will be great.
Is it wrong that it took me like hours to process this in my head, having mentally prepared myself for the denial of any Bandai Namco Studios port?
