Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce.
This is a film made by Chris Morris, a satirist who made shows like Brass Eye and The Day Today which are well worth a watch. Its essentially a satire of a group of Islamist terrorists from Sheffield who decide to put a Jihad on western culture. Trailer http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ew-SrlQ9tlI Funny Unused scene (parts of it are used at the beginning, still hilarious and gives you a taste of the film)

I was meaning to see this a long while ago. That "facejacker" guy is awesome.
yeah this film has british people being blown up highly recomend this
Hated it. Didn't find it funny or entertaining in any way.
Saw it. Great movie: "We got the suspect, the bear is down." "That's not a bear, that's a Wookie" "What's a wookie?" "A bear"
A brilliantly movie so many brilliant lines and beliveable writing. If any of you get the chance to see it the do so.
Saw this with a few friends on my birthday. It was hilarious.
Saw this back when it was out at the cinema. One of the funniest films I've seen in ages. "We could blow up Boots. They sell condoms that make you wanna shag white girls."
Seriously one of the funniest films I've seen, mostly because I grew up in London and see people like this nearly everyday. Highly recommend it! [sp] The whole part when they are in Pakistan is hilarious, '...they managed to blow up Osama Bin Landen'[/sp]
This film is pretty good , brro. rubber dinghy rapidz at alton towers brro.
i like the establishing shots in this movie [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] no mrs thissle i dont want to retake media studies ive found a new purpose in life
I love the bit when the guy is running with the volatile explosives and they're all laughing and egging him on and then he trips and blows up a sheep. Then they were talking about his great sacrifice of a sheep or something.
Know any places that stream it without any of those annoying offers.
I found it funny, but also I found it incredibly hard to get into. I was more watching it for the next bit of comedy rather than having the slightest concern for story.
this is an excellent film [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] "has your dad ever bought jaffa oranges?" "yeah" "he's a jew"

One of the best films of last year. It's not comedy, I don't think you're supposed to laugh in a lot of parts of it, but there are undoubtedly a few funny parts. A couple of parts had a much more serious tone - such as the part where the Imam or cleric comes to the main character's house to warn him about what he is about to do. His relationship with his wife and child, and the scenes in their home are very interesting character development. I absolutely creased up laughing at the 'Puffin Pals' bit though. It was all so serious up until that point and suddenly...PUFFIN PALS! Brilliant.

Was great.
Also love the bit where the guy in the dinosaur suit starts choking on a sim card and a guy someones outside to heimlich maneuver him and they blow up.
It had good parts but I ended up skipping past a lot of it to see the end which wasn't really that great. Overall it was meh.
Also love the bit where the guy in the dinosaur suit starts choking on a sim card and a guy someones outside to heimlich maneuver him and they blow up.
Dinosaur suit? It's a Ninja Turtle.
The sad thing is loads of stupid people went to see this film to see 'dem stupid asian manz blowin themselves up! lol durka durka allah akbar turban lololol' and completely missed the point.
Dinosaur suit? It's a Ninja Turtle.
Eh same difference. I'm sure ninja turtles and dinosaurs were the same thing some where along the line
I didn't expect too much when I went and saw this but I busted my ass laughing many times. The story was just great. Also, gotta love squat running :v:
Sick film, I love Brass Eye. The rubber dingy rapids negotiation made me cry with laughter.
One of the funniest films I have ever seen. It's amazing. [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] *Picks up hammer* "Ima take this and run you over with a tractor"
Fuck mini baby-bels!
Waj was without a doubt one of my favorites.
