The HUD is stupid but this is pretty stupid. Infantry will get decimated without air support.

Wasn't saying we should cut it entirely, I'm saying that we shouldn't be investing this much money into what is essentially a support role. Even more so when you consider the problems that the project has and is undergoing.

Actually yes.

With an adapter for military radio plugs you could use it as a Mic. And attach a TrackIR to it.

Its what I did with mine, I use it for DCS. Its an HGU-55 helmet. One used in F16s and A-10s.
