I didn't laugh. How is it funny? I don't get most humor in general though so it is likely just me.

it is called shock humor
it is where someone is shocked hard enough that they respond with laughter because of how inappropriate the punchline is.
this combined with Paul Blart Mall Cop, a movie which people ironically love because of how dumb the premise and the actors in it are.
the problem is that the 9/11 shock joke is pretty much dead and expected now so it isnt really funny to people who are used to the joke.

Pretty certain it was never really funny to begin with.

I remember kids laughing at the people leaping to their deaths, it will always funny to some people.

It's "funny" to people who want to seem edgy and get attention on the internet.
Although I will admit I still laughed at the video, just because of how unexpected it is, but it is really cheap humor all in all.

Paul Blart Mall Blart isn't even a movie that's so bad it's funny, though. It's just bad.

If you laughed, you laughed. Nothing is cheap.

This raises the question, does expensive humor exist?

I liked Paul Blart because it was funny AND bad, take that.

this seems to be a trend
I watched Machete 2 and that shark tornado movie, and the funniest part in both of those movies is when you find out they exist and you briefly chuckle. The actual films are totally valueless. for so-bad-its-good movies to succeed they have to actually try to be good, and miss the mark through human tragedy (see: Tommy Wiseau.)

i love this kinda shit tbh

this and those nasheed edits
to further drive the point home, tommy wiseau's actual comedy (after he discovered the internet loved the room) is cringeworthy and really not that funny
You cant just intentionally make a so bad its good movie.
It just kinda happens.
