Cruisin' youtube the other day, came across this video. Since then I've accounted for the vast majority of it's views, as I try to extract some kind of meaning or purpose from it's hypnotising gyrations. Can anyone shed some light on exactly what the fuck this video is supposed to be? Looks like a kid dancing to a kpop song. You're welcome.
Personally I think it's a kind of expressionistic take on music and dance. The purpose being to demonstrate the auter's love of dance while also evoking an idea of the nonsensical connotations of modern music.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOL, ahhhh youtube... best site for random shit

It's definitely nonsensical. But why the distortion of the human figure? Are the pantyhose that obscure his face significant or merely because he doesn't want to be personally associated with whatever it is he's done here? I'm on like my 100th view and I'm still no closer to peeling back the layers and finding meaning here. But thanks for your reply, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

His true identity is irrelevant; the video expresses the feeling you get when you drop your chores (in his case cleaning up his bed) in favor of letting your spirit go and living in the moment - dancing maniacally. His proportions lead to this feeling as well - they represent the inner child in all of us.

Though I must ask, why choose a Kpop song when there are plenty of other up-beat songs that better express the idea of living in the moment? And furthermore, why must a child be so plump, and armless? Is this merely a vehicle for him to deliver these concepts of freedom you talk about whilst not being held back by the constraints of physical appendages? Whilst I definitely give credit to your argument, I think there is more here. I'm not sure if the unclean bend is relevant. I mean, surely that's just the state of most young men's bedrooms? Though it does link back to this carefree attitude - which the creator definitely has. Anyone else got any insight?

Except for him. He breaks the mold, doing something "cool" and edgy, which is dancing, while being everything the ideal human image is not: Fat, strange colors, no facial identity, no arms. The music is in a language we cannot understand, which could represent the language of his dance, which we cannot fully fathom.

Or at least contradicting the norm? Look at the surroundings. Ornate bed, wall lamps. It looks like a very mundane, perhaps suburban house. Do you think this is him trying to escape these confines?
