Also, do you mean with the bottom of the cone on the ceiling, or hanging right-side up. if you mean right side up, just put a piece of wood thats large enough so that it doesn't go through the hole, with a cord attached in it, with the cord going through the hold at the top to the ceiling.
If you mean up-side down, nails.

I would suggest doing a bunch of smaller ropes or strings holding it in place
Then add a hydraulic to control the spread of the light and link it with Wire to the switch!
I wanna hang it bottom side up, and i thought about nails but i wasnt sure if there were studs in the ceiling or not.
