Azov Battalion is well known to be far-right in general, and one could certainly call them neo-Nazis and not necessarily be wrong. The Azov Battalion is a very real military group that grew out of previously established neo-Nazi and right wing parties and movements (Such as the Right Sector during the initial Maiden incident). Their symbols certainly are deliberate and meaningfully express this. To draw any other interpretation is simply to ignore the facts of the situation, as has been previously noted.
The idea of neo-Nazi groups being involved in the whole situation in Ukraine isn't simply some Russian lie, the degree may be stretched, but they sure exist and have some level of influence.
It's kinda hard to believe that people can look at the Azov battalion, their emblem, and pictures of them with Swastikas and still believe that they aren't Neo-nazi or at the very least right wing
