• Friends PC will not boot

Hey guys, so recently my friend turned on his computer one day and it would just not do anything. I get no bios screen or anything when it turns on. All the lights turn on, LEDs ect. We hear the harddrive kick on too. I have done just about everything and I am really stumped. I checked the visuals with another computer and the monitor worked fine. I have tried different cords (VGA, DVI, HDMI, ECT) I have reset the board, taken ram out, ect. I have cleared the CMOS, I mean there is not a thing I have not done to this thing and yet I cannot for the life of me figure out whats wrong. So I figured I would ask you guys for a second opinion. Thanks in Advance for any help!
I've done all of that sadly. Possibly a bad motherboard? Or power supply? He does have a CX650
I assume no Beep codes are made?
Try and swap his graphics card out with another if you have an extra one laying about. It's almost always the graphics card when I see this happen.
Does the PC behave differently if you remove all the RAM? Any beeps?
No beeps or anything, tried booting without gpu I'm very stumped
Try and swap his graphics card out with another if you have an extra one laying about. It's almost always the graphics card when I see this happen.
dont have a extra gpu around but i did remove it and try booting with no luck
Then it could be power, mine fried couple months ago. First it randomly shut down my computer then that started to pace up until it could not even go through booting. After that dead silence.
Heres the thing, he was trying to put in a wifi card and ever since then after a few days it just stopped working. I thought maybe PSU, but then I am thinking he might have fried the MB, so idk. I figured with a PSU it wouldnt boot all the LED fans ect.
I'm getting a 64k memory failure ( 3 beeps) so bad ram?
