A British teenager who won $3.3 million in a lottery says she is down to her last dollars but is finally happy after spiralling into depression after buying cars, breast implants, designer clothes and cocaine. Callie Rogers, from Cumbria, won the money in the National Lottery in 2003 when she was 16 years old and hoped it would bring her happiness after she dropped out of school, the Daily Mail reports. Instead of investing the money, Callie, now 22, bought four homes for her family, got breast implants, bought expensive clothes and blew $434,000 on cocaine. But the young woman, who has posed almost-nude for women's magazine Closer, says she is happiest now that she is down to her last $170,000.
Source: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/7946458/teen-lotto-winner-happy-after-blowing-3m
You like that she threw away 3 million dollars on meaningless shit?
Maybe she wouldn't be all depressed if she didn't abuse/waste the money.
No, the meaningless shit she threw the 3 million dollars on.
Cocaine is a helluva drug kids.
lol $434,000 on cocaine
$434,000 on cocaine. What an idiot
You like that she threw away 3 million dollars on meaningless shit?
Personally if I had 3 million the majority of my things would be meaningless shit.
She can't accept that she blew all her money and now says she is actually happy about it.
She's still got a sizable amount of cash she could invest left over
I say she should've spent .3 on getting help with her depressions, then use the remaining 3 millions on having a great life. Watch as she falls into another "deep depression :emo:" when she runs out of money
She probably got all of that cocaine from Hank Hill 1:10
Blame it on the cocaine.
Would have invested 98% of it so I wouldn't have to work a 9-5 ever.
That much money can really be a burden, I can understand her being happy it's almost gone
Put £1m in a boulding society and you can live off the interest.
This annoys me so much, just knowing that she was set for life without having to car about money and to think she just blows it all away.
There was an article on her a year or two ago that talked about how she had spent around $250,000 on coke (mostly for her boyfriend, allegedly) but had since stopped. The total's gone up a little since then.
This annoys me so much, just knowing that she was set for life without having to car about money and to think she just blows it all away.
Yeah it sucks. Most people don't know how to react when given millions of dollars, their first instinct is to just blow it all on luxuries and anything they've ever dreamed of wanting to own, instead of stopping for a minute to think about the future.
She's still got a sizable amount of cash she could invest left over
More cocaine?
You can live a full life on 3 million dollars, or you could invest in the right things and make those 3 million dollars grow to 5 or perhaps even 10 million over a longer period of time. How could she waste it all on that crap?
Yeah well no shit, with all the cocaine she sniffed no wonder she wasn't in a good state of mind. Seriously 400k of cocaine must be lots. Unless she bought like super-premium quality that costs 100k a gram or something and only sniffed 4 grams (which is still way too much, why the fuck would she buy cocaine anyways? She just thought "Oh now that I'm rich and can live well I'll go ahead and ruin myself with drugs").

If I won that much I'd put enough in the bank to live off the interest then just give the rest away seeing as there's not really much point in having millions just there.
More cocaine?
Well she could invest in more cocaine if she wanted to
If I won £3.3m, I'd first invest in cocaine.
Wow, i'm from Cumbria. Never even heard of her though. Hezzy might have.
If I won £3.3m, I'd first invest in cocaine.
Deserved it. Buying a home I can see. One home. Then a few other things, maybe a car, but fucking save/invest the rest.
...I need to fix my morals or... Something. $3.3m doesn't seem like a whole heap of a lot to me. I can hardly see being able to live off of $3.3m (Without an additional income, anyway) as a possibility. That can barely buy you a house around here. Then again I live in Bel Air with my land mogul family, soooo.... [editline]08:58AM[/editline] What kind of retard blows $500,000 on cocaine, anyway. I bet the dealers fucking loved her.
