Loved the first two games so much. The story is weak, but the sense of exploration and adventure is fantastic.
I still have the first disc lying around here somewhere. Don't think I've ever gotten around to finishing it, but fuck it felt huge at the time.
Oh shit I loved these games as a kid
I wish the Steam version of those games weren't so butchered and didn't lack their expansion packs.
And disc copies are hard to find

Not to mention they cost a shitton too

I wish someone could somehow grab the IP from Squeenix so that they can republish the game or maybe even touch up the game's graphics a tiny bit.
I still have my discs, working perfectly. I still play the game every now and then, it's one of my favorite games. Used to play it a lot back when multiplayer actually existed, quite sad that it was shut down after such a short time. Either playing the campaign or just messing about in the start area with other players.. was just so much fun. Then again, I can't remember if it just died out naturally about that time before it got shut down.
I really do miss playing with other people. If anyone got a copy of the game and feel like playing the campaign with some people some time, feel free to hit me up.
Reminded me a lot of Neverwinter nights, what a great game that was
Oh man I loved the first Dungeon Siege. I remember playing it while only getting 10+ fps.

Does the steam version have multiplayer?
Shame the 3rd game is some weird action RPG rather than hack and slash style.
Man I think DS1 was the first game I actually played online.
The chicken chaingun was the most ridiculously OP shit, it was also way too easy to just cheat and go into MP with a level 100 character and all the best shit.

Judging by the steam reviews.. nope. It might just be the ZoneMatch/server browser-thing I was talking about, though. That's what was shut down ages ago. You can still connect directly by IP or using a third party program, at least if you use disc versions.
I saw someone mentioning using Hamachi to do that with the Steam version, so I guess it should be possible. I can't say for sure if it'll work, though.

Proper character modding/hacking was really fun, too. Could do a lot of interesting stuff. As long as you stick to modded lobbies and what not.
Man when he showed the one village with the dwarf and donkey statue I got tons of nostalgia. I remember stressing out when I was like 11 because one of my pack mules died around there and loot exploded everywhere.
I remember that I had saved right before one of those barrels exploded and all my characters were near it - that was fun.
Awesome game, great episode.
Man its not that I disliked Freeman's Mind or anything, but now that Game Dungeon's his focus, Ross has become one of my favorite youtubers.
Never had any idea Dungeon Siege 3 existed.

Don't worry, most people never realized that Dungeon Siege 3 existed either.

I'd rather not be reminded.
My dad still owns the first game and Legends of Aranna. I think we sold the second game a while back though since it was so trash.
Speaking of the abysmal shit that was Dungeon Siege 3, there was actually a sci-fi game made by the same people called Space Siege. It also wasn't very good.
I don't think DS2 was that bad, in fact I really liked it too
DS2 was quite okay, as far as I remember. I just always thought DS1+LOA was the best. Still do.
I honestly don't remember anything from DS2 :v:
I remember playing a lot of DS2 and I couldn't tell you a thing about it.
What I liked most about DS2 was that every character that can join the party comes with his own side quest and he must be present to complete it. Maybe that was also the case in DS1, I don't remember anymore...

It's actually really fun in coop though.
